get off your high horse sugarnspice, and fyi the complaints have been made by the national blind association, if there cannot be comments made pointing out a one-sided justice system for fear of muslims throwing stroppies everytime their own prejudice is brought up and 'racist' thrown at everybody else who objects ,you're being one yourself, people are tired of being gagged by this overused racist card.

nice one beast, I wish. Moderate muslims, there arent any, there cant be any because they start screaming everytime a single criticism is given, everytime a hypocricy is shown, everytime it's pointed out that they too are full of foibles and inconsistencies like the rest, would love to hear one prove me wrong.

The Muslim Taxi driver who recently refused to carry a blind passenger with her guide dog in London was fined £1,400. Should have been sacked and fined more than that.
Under UK LAW a taxi driver CANNOT refuse to carry a guide dog unless they have a medically certified allergy to dogs, and they have to show a medical certificate confirming this, they cannot refuse because "dogs are against their religion" or any other crap excuse.
I think its terrible - to leave a blind person standing there and refuse to carry her in your cab because she has her guide dog (not a pet but a necessity - she needs the dog to get around) with her. What if it had been late at night, or a dodgy area? The poor woman could have been mugged!!!
They should have their taxi licence taken off them.
If they don't like dogs and don't want to have to run the risk of having to carry one in their cab they can either:
a) find another job
b) **** off out of this country.

I know worst things they could be prosecuted for and the police turn a blind eye.
Last night my partner was in Glasgow City Centre with his friends. He got split up from them in a club and decided to get a taxi home.
He went outside an there were a row of private hire cabs. He asked a few but they said they were waiting for hires..When he reached this car, the muslim driver said he'd take him home..We stay about 4 miles from the city centre and a taxi home costs approx £5.
After driving about 400 yards, the driver said it would cost £30.
My partner objected with somewhat colourful language and told him to stop and let him out.
The driver stopped beside 2 police men and told them my partner was being racially abusive.
They removed him from the car and asked what the problem was. He told they the driver was trying to rip him off.
The taxi just drove away before the police could question him.
My partner was almost jailed even though he hadn't said a word about his race or colour. The only thing that saved him from a night in the cells was that I agreed to drive in and get him when he called.
The police laughed when he explained a £5 fare was going to cost £30.
And apparently this is becoming a BIG problem with muslim taxi drivers over charging and taking the piss out of clubbers late at night.
Imagine if that was a lone female feeling vulnerable in a taxi??

Mordant has the right answer and facts.ONE taxi driver was heavily fined by the authorities and he was also condemned by the BCM.

How can you say its muslim taxi drivers when its practically everyone else that does it? Its a bit harsh to generalise and doesn't that just make you as bad as them, being able to be prejudice by blaming muslims when it isn't just them who do it.

You can't classify a minority of muslim taxi drivers for all of them,
Just yesterday i saw a muslim man aid a blind woman and her dog into his car.
Sounds to me that you may be the one being a bit racist.
You also asked another question just regarding a muslim man before, I think you should get off your high horse, not all muslim people are bad, you ought to feel ashamed of yourself.!!

Great question! its happening in cardiff,white guys nbeing refused cab liscenses,however muslim get handed them like they are going out of fashion! something has to be done about this stuff??????????its gone waaaaaaaaaaaaay to FAR!

Unless they work for a firm you have no hope of getting them prosecuted. It's their car they say who/what goes into it.
