Because the lethal injection is bad enough alone! The first needle paralyses, the second actually burns your insides, which not a lot of people know, and the third kills the brain and heart. Why put down that they got HIV or something like that from the needle,as well on the death report. Why would the authorities buy un-sterilised needles, they just buy clean ones from the producer

Well the only reason i can think of is for the fact the state has had to pay some one to come up with these type procedures, and ensure that the company who makes the needles has a job so income can be made. Make sense?

In case the Doctor giving the injection jags their own hand when they put the needle in. If they gave them a dirty needle and they caught something then the prison would have to pay them a load of money.

So that the death can not be said to be caused by negligence or neglect. That any one concerned can be fully satisfied that the death was deliberately and purposely caused by agents of the state.
There must be no possibility of any confusion about it.

i think it is for the safety of the injectors and stuff ok it dosen't matter about the accused health but if the doctor got pricked ther life could be over too.

they would have to....what if the guy didn't die and the person got an infection/etc. from the dirty needle, the person might be able to fight sentence

It is common practice. There would be no reason other than being sadistic to use a used one.
