Why does wal-mart get sued so much?

I know recently that they have had some lawsuits over the fact of employees working off the clock, but besides that, why do they get sued so much?

Because they are a huge corporation that is well known and has deep pockets. $$$ And they can pull some boneheaded moves from time to time.

walmart should be sued, they are cheating people when you go in and buy an electronic product they only give you 15 days to bring it back in for a refund or a exchange...THAT SUCKS.. what happens if you got it for a gift.
For instance my daughter bought my son a KURIO s7 for christmas around the 6th of the month ok we all know that christmas was 18 days later. They don't tell you this when you purchase the gift or product. Well my son is too old for the game so he is stuck with a game that is for a 8 or 9 year old that cost a $149.00 I will never buy anything else from walmart. K-mart is my new store at least they give you some lead way when you buy their electronics...SO LONG WALMART.

Because WalMart is just another big business that calculates the risks, and decides it's better to get sued a lot than to do the right thing for their employees, vendors and customers.
It's strictly a "cost of doing business". There is no such thing as morality or ethics in business anymore; all WalMart cares about is profit. The company doesn't give a damn about employees, communities or competition. Look how they come into a town and drive out all small independent businesses. Look how they con municipalities into believing they'll create "good" jobs and then only hire part-time help at minimum wage. Look how they abuse their employees (especially in China) and browbeat their suppliers into selling at the lowest price even if it puts them into bankruptcy. So you might get "low prices - everyday" at WalMart, but at a huge expense to your community, your neighbors, your local businesses, and your local government.
Yet, four of Sam Walton's relatives are among the Forbes' top ten list of the world's richest people. That's sheer greed. -RKO-
