I was in military intelligence overseas and personally it makes me mad when I hear muslims in the U.S. and abroad complain about George Bush and the U.S. Just an FYI if you are a muslim, I am glad that my time in the military probably contributed to blowing your muslim brothers in Al Qaeda to kingdom come. Oh and by the way, in the U.S. Military, our bombs are WAY bigger than yours and we can blow you up with them even if you are locked in a concrete bunker a hundred feet in the ground! It seems all I ever hear about is 911, terrorism, wars, and more and more of the same. Howeve, does anyone ever stop to think about other tragedies that may occur? Duh! Well, here is something new to think about. I was informed recently of a sunami that is 100% surely to strike the Pacific Northwest, USA within this year! Now this is something we should be talking about and preparring for so that we won't be caught off guard like we were on 911. Just a few days ago the gulf experienced an earthquake which is part of the ring of fire extending from north of the pacific ocean . down through the gulf region, then to the southirn tip of Brazil and back up to most west and north part of the pacific ocean. The plates in the oceans are moving rapidly and it won't be too long before they explode. Not to scare anyone but we need to be prepared and I'm afraid we're not cuz we our wasting precious time worrying about old 911.

My daughter swears that the date Sept 11, 2001 9/11) was picked by the ones responsible deliberately because 911 represents an emergency number to call when there is chaos, trouble , need help in a hurry or sudden heartache!! Any one else with this feeling or feedback?

To everyone talking about how a lot of people died and so on and so forth . . . Thousands if not millions of people are dying everyday. So as you attempt to pay tribute to those who have lost loved ones Sept. 11, 2001, remember that there are women, men and children dying at this moment and no one bothers to give a s**t about them. Every year, thousands of faceless --- nameless people are cremated and buried together because no one cared about them. Death ultimately can't be prevented ---don't get me wrong I have just as much respect for the dead as anyone else, if not more than some. So if you want to pay respect for those whose lives had been cut short, or that have died unjustly . . . remember that it's still happening, it happens everyday . . . No matter what, almost everyone has been by Sept. 11, whether you knew someone personaly or knows someone that did . . . I just can't see how some people can only justify the mourning of those people when everyday there are people dying in unjustly acts. Is it because of the multitude of people that died? What is it? Not too far from my school there was a woman who was brutally stabbed and murdered by a guy she knew on a highway during the middle of the day. He pulled the car over and killed her in front of any and everyone to see, it happened about four months ago but nobody cares about it now. Then, in a city a few minutes from mine, there was a woman who was killed over her baby. Someone pretty much cut her open and took her eight-month-old baby . . . and left her on the bed that way. People pretty much went d*mn and moved on. I guess I just want to see if anybody gives a d*mn about what else is going on ---if not in the world your own town?

I so respect the thinking behind the drafting of the American constitution and the sacrifices the 'plain' folk of the USA have made in the world as service men and women. I just have a problem with what has gone on since 9/11 and am not sure bombing all around the world reflects well on the people. - In the ww1 the guys came out of the trenches and met and realised they were just the same hard working stiffs whose politicians had sent them to be slaughtered but for what purpose? I don't see killing anyone in Iraq or Palestine makes the world any better - unless you are rich because you make munitions
