Yes. He only cares about himself and the Republican party.
He did not make that speech because of 9/11. He just used 9/11 as a catalyst for his own agenda. He is a fraud.

It was pure nonsense for him to ask Americans to set aside differences that he has been deliberately provoking and exploiting for partisan advantage these past five years. He had a unified nation to work with after 9/11 (indeed, a rather unified world!), and he opted to pursue a divisive, partisan agenda rather than working to build genuine consensus on the dangers our nation faces. Apparently, he has finally gotten a sense that most of the people do not believe or agree with him as heartily as the party backers he usually spends all his time talking to. Unfortunately, to Bush and his supporters, consensus only means that those who disagree with him must either change their opinions or have their loyalty, integrity, and common sense questioned. Even if Bush himself has started to believe the words coming out of his mouth, the time is long past when the American public could believe him. The fact that he tried to use the 9/11 anniversary to advance support for his incompetent war strategy is simply inexcusable. The sooner this buffoon is out of office, the better.

Boy have I seen some stupid answers to this one. He wants to get reelected huh?
KIDS:
This has been too short of a war for you to say same old same old.
You should really educate yourself in warfare.
We have lost less than 3000 troops in this war.
I hate to have the lost of one but military personnel know the risks and take them anyway. That number is NOTHING compared to Vietnam, WWI and WW II. They wish we would have only lost that many.
Rep or Dem, it doesn't matter: The speech WAS for 9-11 and the people who were lost on OUR land, the first attack on US soil.
It is important to stay the course in Iraq. Do you want the fight here? If you think this is soooo crazy. The US does not own most of the ports on our own coasts. That is a fact. The largest sea port in the world , just 60 miles off the coast of Florida is owned by China.
We are not impenetrable.
BTW, sleeper cells are already all over the US. You can believe it or not. that is your choice. We have to keep the terrorist leaders overseas from getting the chance to send the message to them to activate.

I had to stop watching George's simpering speeches when I started throwing things at the TV at the first sight of his evil face.
Because of the economy he's ruined, I can't afford to replace my TV week after week.

I'm really sorry to say this but, I fell asleep. It's always the same thing and I was also disappointed because his speech interrupted the 911 movie I was watching.

Yes. That is really all he cares about. Not all politicians are like that, but that is mostly what you will see in office. They will say or do anything that they believe will earn them votes, and then not follow through with promises.
