On live TV she refused to cover the Paris Hilton story this morning on MSNBC. Refusing to report fluff as news deserves praise. It's time that journalists took their jobs more seriously.

I have heard that an obsessed fan shot her,or a different story is that her manager did it, I am just not sure which one is true. I have also heard different stories about where she died, was it at a friend's house, a hotel or somewhere else??

Talking specifically about the TV evening news (both local and national brodcasts)

Do you think they are doing a public service to inform the general public? Do you think they have a political agenda? Do you think its all about the bottom Line? Or do you think there is some other motivating factor that determines which stories are shown and how they are presented?

I know I don't stand alone in saying "I'm sick of Paris Hilton" She was a spoiled, rich NOBODY until she made her home porn movie...now she's a spoiled, rich, airhead home porn star. ENOUGH ALREADY! You can't watch a TV program, listen to a radio, or have your Yahoo home page come up without seeing her. I would love to see Yahoo set an example and QUIT covering this NONSENSE!! There are so many other news worthy events going on in the world. Other than "eye candy" I don't think ANYONE likes her or cares what she's doing, wearing, or having her dumb comments repeated by the media. I the only subject that has been covered about Paris that I consider "news worthy", is when she was able to manipulate a Sheriff into letting her out of jail...the story should have been: Sheriff arrested for releasing a prisoner!! In my opinion...it's only a matter of time until she drives drunk again and kills an innocent family; BECAUSE she is above the law...that's the message you are all sending.

Why is it when a white attrative female is reported missing it comes out in national TV? Eventhough 100s of different minorities of women and men are reported missing everyday. Is it because the caucasian have more privilege than everyone else or they have the money to broadcast to the nation?
