Yolanda Saldivar murdered Selena. Yolanda managed Selena's boutiques and ran her fan club. She shot Selena when it was discovered that Yolanda had been stealing money from the fan club. Selena met Yolanda at a hotel to retrieve financial documents, and Yolanda shot her in a rage. Yolanda continues to give smug answers in interviews, and the disgusting woman really seems to enjoy the spotlight. May Selena rest in peace.

Selena's fan club president, Yolanda Saldivar, shot Selena at the Corpus Christi Days Inn on Navigation Boulevard. Not only was Saldivar Selena's fan club president (& founder) but also a close friend. Saldivar was also managing Selena's San Antonio boutique, Selena Etc..
I think that saying her manager killed her is a bit misleading being that her father was her actual manager.

Her fan club manager killed her. Her name was Yolanda something...I don't remember the last name. It may have been Saldovar. She was killed at a motel where she was meeting with Yolanda regarding some mishandling of the fan club. Fans were sending checks for the fan club, but were not getting anything. The word was that Yolanda was stealing the money from the fans.

I believe she was killed in Corpus Christi, TX. And like others said, it was her obsessed manager. The problem is, she probably could've lived, but she was a Jehovah's Witness. For some reason their faith does not allow them to receive blood transfusions. If they did, it's likely she'd still be alive.
I don't mean to put down anyone's religion, but I just could not let my daughter die like that. I would've converted to Christianity really quick if I was faced with that decision. They must be really strong in their faith to let her die.
