First of all let me start off with the facts so you don't get it twisted.
1. The tape off him getting beat down was edited down from the original version.
2. In the full version you see rodney king running at the police before he gets taken down.
3. He was spray with pepper spray " TWICE " and still kept coming.
4. The police thought he was on PCP so they used extra force.
(I would have two I mean pepper spray twice?)
5.Even If you pay attention to the tape where he's getting beat down its not like he's lying flat on his face HE'S STILL TRYING TO GET UP.
6. He was aquitted the jury saw the FULL VERSION of the tape and took into account the officers testimony's.
*Rodney King should have got his *** beat hands down. Honestly if I was the cop I might have shot him.I mean damn its not like he was following directions.THE MEDIA caused the LA RIOTS period.They saw this edited tape that didn't give the complete story the JURY aquit cuz they got the complete story then the Riot happn

I am disappointed because I was looking on YouTube and I cannot find the hanging video of Saddam's half brother Barzan al-Tikriti .. Does anyone have a link to where I can watch it?

I hope they did a better job with this video, the Saddam one was kind of shaky.

I'm looking into going into journalism & don't know what I want to do. Right now I'm a sophomore in highschool & this is my first year working for a school publication. I've already written for a top newspaper (my highschool & dallas morning news) I don't really want to work at a newspaper, though. I've been interested in writing for a music or sports magazine. Any idea what degree I might need?

I believe that it is the parent's fault for not being more direct on the subject of death. Everyone dies, and the sooner a kid learns that, the better off the kid will be. Also, the kid was 12. If a person is stupid enough to tie a noose around their neck, then the kid isn't smart enough to live.

I'm writing an article for my high school newspaper. Since the month of Feb. is Black History Month, I thought it appropriate to write an article about Dr. Martin Luther King.

Every since I've began writing this article, its been hard to find students who care or are even aware of this federal holiday. Not only do teens not care, but the majority of adults as well. Why do you think people don't seem to care these days? What are the major reasons? and Can we make them care?

I always thought I was a leftie, but read the Guardian the other day and just found it kinda irritating - endlessly opinionated and constant bitching about bush,blair,america etc in practically every article. Does this mean that at the young age of 21 I have already rejected my teenage lefty principles and am on the slippery slope to the right? I always got told that your political leanings go more to the right as you get older - am worried!
