Suggestions for someone going into journalism?

I'm looking into going into journalism & don't know what I want to do. Right now I'm a sophomore in highschool & this is my first year working for a school publication. I've already written for a top newspaper (my highschool & dallas morning news) I don't really want to work at a newspaper, though. I've been interested in writing for a music or sports magazine. Any idea what degree I might need?

Journalism, Creative Writing, English really any degree is going to work to get you into a magazine as long as you can write. Keep getting practical experience by continuing to work for the student newspaper, intern at the DMN, try to get an interview at a magazine even if it is not necessarily a music or sports mag.
