Just found this on the web
www.foxnews.com
WASHINGTON — The Lakota Indians, who gave the world legendary warriors Sitting Bull and Crazy Horse, have withdrawn from treaties with the United States.

"We are no longer citizens of the United States of America and all those who live in the five-state area that encompasses our country are free to join us,'' long-time Indian rights activist Russell Means said.

Lakota country includes parts of the states of Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, Montana and Wyoming.

The new country would issue its own passports and driving licences, and living there would be tax-free - provided residents renounce their U.S. citizenship, Mr Means said.
What the hell is going on with these clowns? and what kind of freak would not only jeapordise the life of Madeleine if she is still alive by saying they know who have her or are lying through their teeth to make it look like they are worth the ridiculous fee they are getting?

realise that the asker simply has a major chip on their shoulder,

........and we just cannot be bothered to entertain the question!

If you are still with me, I will say more. I get attracted by the question, then I read that they are so strongly against the McCanns, even to the point of abusing them, that i go right off the idea of giving them an answer.

I think to myself "this person has a major chip on their shoulder, so where's the point?".

On a few rare occassions, if I think that person really wants to discuss intelligently about the case, then i am very pleased.

So are there many people out there who have felt the same?

Clive Stafford Smith is a hero and one decent human being

this man fights injustice all over the world, including fighting for the release of every man and child in Guantanamo Bay and
for people on shaky convictions that are on Death Row

Id like to shake his hand

In this world full of scum like Tony Blair, George Bush, and
Ehud Olmert, thank God we have men of stature working for
the ordinary man in the street

Clive Stafford Smith , a man not after legacies or book deals

I guess this is probably a little more uncomfortable than the waterboarding or putting people in rooms where it is too cold or too warm. You make the call.

to find Madeleine?

What better way to make sure the mystery stays hidden hey?

I mean lets face it, any organisation that confidently predicts Maddy will be home in time for Xmas when it flies in the face of all logic and reason is clearly taking the P.

Its bad enough the McCanns have stopped looking (did they even start?) but then they hire the worst detective agency since ....... (well I dont know any bad detective agencies but you get my point)

when she was older do you think she would say to Gerry and Kate:

"Don't worry. You were just naive. I too would have thought it was perfectly safe to leave 3 young children in an unlocked apartment that they had only known for 6 days.

And you are right, our back garden has a gigantic swimming pool in it with a main road that runs through the back, and lots of foreign people who youve never met wandering around in it."

Or do you think she would change her name by deed poll, go into hiding from Gerry and Kate and leave them a courteous 2 word note telling them to 'F off!'.

2007-12-19 21:01:55 · 27 answers · asked by dave s 2

If they have, maybe I would slightly believe they expect her to return.
If they have no present ready in case she returns, it will speak volumes to me.
I know the grandmother has one, but I mean Kate & Gerry.
What do you think?

I have heard from a person who answered a similar question that the Palestinians didn't occupy the land until the early 1900s. Is this true, because I am very suprised I didn't know this? So, if it is true what the other answerer said, who did occupy the land?

Its that panic time of year, rushing around trying to find presents for friends and family and running up a credit card bill that you know will have you in tears when it hits the mat mid January.

Well, self confessed serial child neglectors Kate and Gerry may just have the solution...
