Metodo 3 have NEVER said that maddie will be home for christmas. You can thank the British tabloids for that. I have heard exactly what they said. Paco Marco , the director of metodo 3 said "I wish she could be home by Cristmas" which is not quite the same.

The first time I smelt a rat about this agency was when they came out with all this crap of having some very strong leads and that they will have her home by christmas. I thought that a professional setup would keep absolutely quiet. In fact the private detective should not even be known to people. Imagine you were on the run from this Metodo 3 bunch; it makes your hiding easier knowing who they are, what information they think they have (that they are happy to boast about in the papers!). You'd have an easy job hiding.
As far as I'm concerned, I don't think we should even know that a PI agency has been employed.

This stopped being an investigation to locate Maddie a long time ago
This is all about playing psychological games and deflecting blame from the guilty
Someone seems determined that Maddie will be a case marked unsolved and filed away in a dusty cabinet

They certainly come across as incompetent. What reputable and responsible detective agency would announce to the world that they know where a missing child is and who is holding her? Or that they will have her home by Christmas which is now a matter of days away, obviously a promise they could never fulfil. And all this for £50,000 a months of publicly donated money!

Because they knew that they would eventually be named as suspects and wanted to use the money to hire an expensive legal team. Now that public opinion has shown them that it is not acceptable to do that, they have decided to use the money on a new PR offensive. Their arrogance is limitless.

They hired the ones who are known (makes it look like they are highly respectable professionals) but with a different objective - Keep the police's noses out of our way, get some new witnesses, make them believe we are innocent.

They must have scoured around in the dirt for weeks to find the most incompetent PIs around .By hiring the really ace ones the Mcscams ran the risk of being exposed for the liars they are . They must think we are all stupid ( well some of us are and they are the ones the Mcs love.... the gullible ones)The same ones day after day at the top of the answer list ....boring .

They've done the job and are now reaching their " sell by date "there's a limit to what even the most credulous will believe, they've probably enabled a spot of cash stacking too, eventually Gerry MacCann, no matter how clever he imagines himself to be, will make a mistake and the game will be over .

No they never started and this 'suits' them perfectly, as it keeps the scam going, knowing they won't ever find her... Scumbags spring to mind...
