If they have, maybe I would slightly believe they expect her to return.
If they have no present ready in case she returns, it will speak volumes to me.
I know the grandmother has one, but I mean Kate & Gerry.
What do you think?

Skidoo, I`d appreciate your sticking to just answering the question.
What you have done amounts to an uncalled for personal attack upon myself.
Another reason why I don`t feel as free to speak on here as I should.
Too many like you around.

If they have one it is too show people they really believe she's alive, but they know she will never open it.

the McCanns are very good at manipulating the press. Its so easy to buy a prezzie and then tell everyone who will listen have you've bought it for your missing child. It does not mean that they think she's alive.

Depends on who they're trying to fool, they know she's dead but do everyone else, family, friends, etc, know the same ? if not, i suspect there must be an awful lot of doubt surrounding them, times like this they must wonder whether the lies are worth it .

I would think they have, dont matter how long a child is missing think the parents always still buy birthday presents and cards, and christmas gifts.

Who cares?
They assisted in her disappearance if only by negligence and nothing else. They have lied and connived and will probably never tell the truth. I mourn for Madeleine, but the McCanns have no sympathy of mine and never will.

What the hell has that got to do with us?

That's private and personal to them. Having said that, and you have asked, I would assume that indeed they do have some gifts for Madeleine, and if they don't I am sure she will find all her old familiar toys just as splendid and joyous as if they were new.

Some weird thinking on here today.

Penny I'm quite sure you would damn them if they had for being cynical and damn them if they hadn't for being cheap.

Which makes you pretty cynical and cheap really.

Now, why don't you run along and learn to play nicely?
