What the heck does the government have to do with steroids in baseball? Why are they wasting tax payer dollars to investigate drug use in a non government agency?

Misdirection; anything to take the countries attention off their own crimes.

The fight against steroids is a battle that cannot be won.

Athletes/teams have billions of dollars to buy knowledge and steroids/other substances. Anti-steroid organisations have a small budget.

Better to legalize and regulate steroids like in the old-days.

A lot of people don't even know what steroids are, and that they are safe when they are used right.

I think the main purpose behind this is for the children. Baseball is America's past-time. Baseball players are every young boy's (some girls) hero. Our youth need good moral people to look up to for their heroes not druggies.

Americans follow baseball so religiously (god knows why) that the Government probably felt it had to act.

While I don't think the government belong involved, I do think MLB should be more strict.
