Do you also think that terrorist will start assonating local MPs for voting for the Iraq war rather than killing innocent civilians?

What do you think about this ongoing war in Iraq? This is just my opinion but I feel that Bush should be concentrating on our country because it seems to be falling apart. Education and health care are on the back-burners and more people are being killed over a war that I think a lot of Americans are tired of hearing about. I realize homeland security is very important, but at what cost? I believe our country is suffering and Bush just continues on without realizing what's going on in his own country?

Sixteen Vermont towns passed a separate "soldiers home now" resolution calling on the White House, the U.S. Congress and Vermont's elected officials to withdraw troops from Iraq.

"The best way to support them is to bring each and every one of them home now and take good care of them when they get home," the resolution said.

We would ALL like for them to come home. Right Now. However, there is one little problem. The terrorists will follow us here, bringing the violence to US soil. Some of them have been quoted vowing to follow us "infidels" and kill us all.

So my question to you is: what do we do once they are home? How do we defend ourselves? We face budget cuts for the military and our borders are sparsely guarded. If you have made this resolution, then you must already have a solution to this problem. I'd like to know what it is.

Recently there was a special on TV about winners of the lottery and the downfall that occured in their lives after winning. Some commited suicide, died(no previous health problems), went to prision, bankrupt, etc. Do you believe that it is a curse or it is just life playing out? Would you still want to win knowing this history?

Everyone concentrates on the problems we're having in this country lately; illegal immigration, hurricane recovery, wild animals attacking humans in Florida .
Not me. I concentrate on solutions to problems. The result is a win-win-win situation:

+ Dig a moat the length of the Mexican border
+ Use the dirt to raise the levies in New Orleans
+ Put the Florida alligators in the moat.

Any other problems you would like for me to solve today

Bush did not serve his country honorably (AWOL)-Cheney (5) deferrments-are definitely not the courageous type-why did Libby protect these two (and more)-Maybe he felt that what he knew could bring down the Bush Adm. and as much as I don't like Bush-it would be bad for the whole country for our government to be in a postion of shame and collapse-lets just get Bush out and just move on-22 mos. left.

I actually watched Fox News yesterday after the Libby verdict was announced. Their panel members were saying...wait for it...

"no CRIME was actually committed here folks...remember...the only crime was lying under oath...it's all politics..." Stunning.

So does anyone owe President Clinton an apology?

General Ali Askari, who is the under-secretary of security of the Iranian regime, and the actual commander of the Iranian "Revolution guards" probably left Iran willingly and was not kidnapped.
this man, who knows many, if not all of the secrets of Iran, is probably talking his heart out somewhere in Europe.
the Iranians Act very nervously about the possible defection.
they might try and start some military or terror activity now.
but this defection could be the first Rat jumping off the Iranian ship, and that is also a reason for nervousness with the Iranians.

What is the real reason that Bush continues to stay in Iraq? He stated that he wouldn't leave Iraq until he has "won" the war. Does anybody still think his only true reason to stay in Iraq is for the oil, because he did state sometime in November last year that oil was one of the reasons to stay, that the enemy would use oil-blackmailing against the US? Any opinions?
