I'm in Liverpool (England) and my partner is an ex royal marine, medically discharged due to injuries received whilst fighting in Iraq.

I honestly think its pointless, and a waste of British lives. What do Canadians or anyone else think?

I also think sending prince Harry out there is a huge mistake as he is so obviously going to end up as a huge target endangering everyone around him, and being a partner of someone who has served in Iraq I can tell Chelsy now its very emotional and hard!

both global Wars, Boer conflict, Opium conflict and each and each of the skirmishes. India became a British Colony. the different colonies also fought for us. Nepal became in no way a colony, besides the undeniable fact that the Gurkha's fought for us up until eventually many years in the past. there is two sides to each and each tale. A Scots regiment went 'severe' first, so human beings say we sacrificed them. yet then the Blackwatch has the perfect record as shocktroops. there could were cases of both utilizing and abusing each regiment. inspite of the truth that the ANZAC's will in no way have self belief this. each now and then like the Somme and Gallipoli, unfair blame pales by technique of evaluation with the sacrifice.

In my view this is all part of a plan to get a reformation in the Muslim faith that will break the political power of the religious leaders in muslim countries. A simmillar thing happened in Europe hundreds of years ago and it will happen in the middle east in the next 50-100 years or so.
In the meantime many thousands of people are going to be killed. That's religion for you.
I just hope we can weave this reformation into our economic interests so that we at least get something more immediate out of our sacrifices.

I'm 100% in favour of them both, and I give all my support to our troops. Good luck to them!
