Sixteen Vermont towns passed a separate "soldiers home now" resolution calling on the White House, the U.S. Congress and Vermont's elected officials to withdraw troops from Iraq.

"The best way to support them is to bring each and every one of them home now and take good care of them when they get home," the resolution said.

We would ALL like for them to come home. Right Now. However, there is one little problem. The terrorists will follow us here, bringing the violence to US soil. Some of them have been quoted vowing to follow us "infidels" and kill us all.

So my question to you is: what do we do once they are home? How do we defend ourselves? We face budget cuts for the military and our borders are sparsely guarded. If you have made this resolution, then you must already have a solution to this problem. I'd like to know what it is.

Maybe the terrorists are already in Vermont? Bring the troops home and station them all in Vermont. Then, the voting pattern will change as there are so few people there that they are irrelevant.

The truth is, Vermont just wants to get into the news.
