I actually watched Fox News yesterday after the Libby verdict was announced. Their panel members were saying...wait for it...
"no CRIME was actually committed here folks...remember...the only crime was lying under oath...it's all politics..." Stunning.
So does anyone owe President Clinton an apology?

Clinton was only the second pres. to be impeached. He committed crimes that were not pursued by civilian courts because the constitution does not allow that during his time in office. That is why there was the impeachment. People say it was only about his affairs, but over 100 people refused to testify, or left the country to avoid testifying. Think about the super computers they sold to China, The Rose Law Firm where the second in command at Justice went to prison, his and Hilary's close lifelong friend, she can't remember anything when she testified. That way she can't be charged with lying because she never said anything. The Rose Law Firm billing records appeared in the private sitting room in the White House with her finger prints on them, but she knows nothing. The secret service officer saw her and several others removing boxes from Vince Foster's office after he was dead, but before his body was discovered the next morning. Clinton gave out over 100 pardons his last night in office. Some to people who had refused to testify against him. A criminal hiding in Europe whose ex-wife donated $2 million to his presidential library. Realize almost all of these people in office are corrupt.

No I dont think Clinton brought shame to the White House. It was all partisan politics that led to his attemped impeachment that rightly failed.
Newt Gingrich and the rest of the old gang should publicly apologise and say it was "crazy politics" at the time. He will if he wants to try and win the GOP nomination.

President Clinton owes the US public an apology. He took advantage of a young girl and then lied about it in an attempt to save his butt from a sexual harrassment investigation. The whole Libby furor is just an attempt by the left damage the Bush administration. It's nothing but a witchhunt.

God no, the Clintons were trailer trash that just won't go away. You should look forward, try to find a better candidate and not stay with someone like the Clintons. Don't accept trash for candidates and maybe millions of Democratic voters won't have to vote for a Republican again.

Monica was hardly a young, innocent girl unaware of the consequences of her actions. Clinton knows he screwed up - pardon the pun- and isn't expecting an apology. This just proves that the Conservatives have their own idiotic definition of morals and lying.

The right wing attacked Clinton for his moral behavior and spent millions of dollars to impeach and attempt to remove him from office.
Libby lied over issues of how this country was lied to about going to war in Iraq.

Apologize for WHAT? He lied, stole, cheated. He owes the american public an apology and should make restiltution for all the White House objects and furniture he stole when they vacated the oval office.

...Wm Jefferson Clinton, took his pants off in "our governments" White House... stuck his penis in the mouth of a young girl who was ignorant of the ramifications of her actions and "he" then lied about in front of the World.... a disgrace to this Nation.
