Britain will be paying the price of course, with hundreds of 1000's of more illegal immigrants flocking to northern Europe from North Africa.
Its a great deal for Morocco as the King gets to send thousands of his subjects to work up here illegally and past experience has shown that their army of immigrants sends £millions back to Morocco every year.
Currently they do not benefit our economy and recent newcomers from that country bring with them some of the highest rates of theft, drug dealing and prostitution amongst immigrant populations.
In my view Spain should choose more carefully its business partners.
Maybe Spain considers it revenge on Britain for not giving up Gibraltar!

Hmm. I just looked at my globe and it seems a similar distance from southern tip of Spain to nothern tip of Morocco... as is our Channel Tunnel with France.
Personally I doubt it will happen. Surely the lessons of our Chunnel have been learnt = investors lost out and massive debt to banks. Although it did cost my mate £400 in fuel costs to make the same trip from Spain to Morocco in his Miami Vice style powerboat.

I'm sure it will end up costing way more than that, but i would still support such a project. The social, economic and political positives that will come out of such a project will far out way its costs.
Such a tunnel will not only connect two countries, like the Channel tunnel, but will connect two different continents and two different cultures, something that we really need more of in the world today

artwork your way down the coast from Barcelona (spend a minimum of four nights interior the city nevertheless... it particularly is remarkable and there is plenty to work out and do). pass over to Morocco by skill of boat someplace close to Gibraltar or Cadiz, and then stumble on Morocco. do no longer pass with prepared excursions because of the fact they are going to herd you around like sheep into shops run by skill of their kinfolk!
