Being a Survivor of Katrina from Gulfport, Mississippi and Harrison
county where we got Tidal surges, tornadoes and much flooding
from both not to mention the hurricanes High winds and rain!
I have heard many blame our President for not helping as well as Fema and our Armed Forces.
The bridges were washed out East and West and much damaged
destruction from the north to south and many storms threatening
from the Gulf of Mexico where I am from and was there as a Resident at the time of Katrina at that and saw first hand!
So, I really would like to know what Anyone could have done that
would have caused us to get relief any faster as I am still in Post
Tramatic Shock and it will be a long time healing and I just can not
point fingers at Anyone that could have stopped the Worlds Wake
Up Call? The World suffered and not just those of us whom were
there and suffered beyond anyones imaginations! Please, believe
these words.
Where were they going to come from to help more and how

How many prison places could be built with the money wasted on the 2012 Olympics? We're going to have loads more dangerous scum wandering around soon thanks to our wonderful Home Secretary, like this case in the news today.

From the BBC: A man who downloaded child pornography to his computer has escaped jail after the home secretary asked judges to limit prison terms due to overcrowding. Judge John Rogers QC gave Derek Williams, 46, a suspended sentence, saying he had to consider "the current sentencing climate", telling Mold Crown Court: "As of yesterday, I have to bear in mind a communication from the home secretary."

WTF??

He has never called for the extinction of Israel for one, he merely said the government is corrupt and needs to be cleaned up and changed. Yet I read on Yahoo and AP that he has repeatedly said this. Strange?

The NY Times reports:
"Big States’ Push for Earlier Vote Scrambles Race"
By Adam Nagourney
WASHINGTON, Jan. 24 — As many as four big states — California, Florida, Illinois and New Jersey — are likely to move up their 2008 presidential primaries to early next February, further upending an already unsettled nominating process and forcing candidates of both parties to rethink their campaign strategies, party officials said Wednesday. The changes, which seem all but certain to be enacted by state legislatures, mean that the presidential candidates face the prospect of going immediately from an ordered series of early contests in relatively small states in January to a single-day, coast-to-coast battlefield in February, encompassing some of the most expensive advertising markets in the nation.

In the recent UK news – (http://uk.news.yahoo.com/25012007/325/mu... we can see that a set of Muslims are complaining over the 'bad guy image'. In all do respects if they were big in the movie making business they would portray the other religions as bad. I just cannot believe why these people persist on making a big deal about nothing. How many films are out there where a Christian or Catholic is portrayed as bad people or the enemy? We do not complain though. They are a race of people who just seem to enjoy causing a fuss over nothing. When I watched Raiders of the Lost Ark, I did not immediately think 'OMG all Muslim people are bad!' It is just so annoying, a group of people in London being able to hold up banners saying 'All Westerners must be hanged' and getting away with it, if we were in Pakistan or Iraq they would not stand for something like that if we were insulting them in such a manner, we would be killed.
