That the court ruled that the birth parent's get her back custody of her again. I would like to see different people's opinions.

A mother who has given birth to the child has the right for custody irrespective of the sacrifice made by American couple to support the child. This is great shock to them. Even the child is looser.

You'd think that the lawyer or legal authority (US government?) would have addressed such potential issues before allowing these people to do a foreign adoption in the first place. People need to think more carefully about such things before they sign the paperwork instead of, in some cases, letting the increasingly loud ticking of the ol' biological clock override their judgement.
