Capitalism won't fall, while it is a bad economic system, all the others are much worse.

Capitalism will not fall though America’s economy will. Ever year more laws give the unions more power and make more things a human right. People see corporation as the bad guys. Everyone cannot have more stuff then they produce though. American companies keep going into the red and going under because they have to pay more out then they make in sails, yet the government says they are not paying the workers enough and raises minim wage and heath care requirements.
Yes New Orleans is a sign of coming evens. The people had 3 days notice to leave. Free busses ran out of the city almost empty because they did not want to. When it came people where stuck in there housed with a car or 2 in the drive. The government had thousands of soldiers there before it hit and over 10thousand before the week was done.
Even though they told the people to leave and provide free busses it was the Governments fault the people did not listen and stayed. They even thought they had thousands of troops and so many helicopters it was hard to control the air space to get the people who did not listen they did not do enough.
A year later they stopped give some people free income and they were wrong because how where those people supposed to survive without the money. Yet a lot of them had not once in that year looked for a job. Every year more and more people will want to be handed stuff because they deserve it.
How many times have you heard people deserve food, shelter, and heath care whether they have money or not, but think about this why should people have to build houses, grow food or go to medical school if they are not going to be paid? Why should I have to make stuff for you that you deserver for free but I have to work my butt off and get the same? That is where it will fall apart.
Yes it is an idea of things to come. Every time you rise what people have a right to for being alive less will work for more. If everyone deserves food, shelter, clothing and heath care just for being here. Then why work you have every thing you need, but if no one works or works hard who grows the food, builds the houses, makes the clothes and mans the hospitals?
That is how America will fall not from foreign powers. It will be like the USSR. We are headed down the same path they went down years ago before the cold war.

Stop us from what, being a successful young nation?
Capitalism wont fall, despite whiner socialists such as yourself. Capitalism is not a regime, and New Orleans was a demonstration of what a big hurricane and poor state and local government can do to a sub sea level city.
As far as stopping America? Good luck, chuckles. I think you should lead the charge, but you just want others to do the dirty work for you, so you could reap whatever benefits you think would magically appear afterward without having to do any of the actual work yourself.
You are truly pathetic.

Capitalism per say is not a bad system of government , the problem one can see is the similarity of the rich to the imperial royals of our past which were overthrown after for the simple reason of just having too much and the poor being left behind , which is just about the same thing going on right now , like the saying goes " the rich gets richer and the poor still getting poorer " ' so one can ask how much longer is this problem is going to persist and at which point all of us poor will decide enough is enough , and what action are we going to take ? , I suppose is any bodies guess ....

I think America will destroy itself long before the rest of the world can do much. We're already in the process of destroying ourselves- just look at the crime rate and the gulf between the wealthy and the middle class. Either the people are going to rise up and install a non-corrupt government (my personal favorite) or we're going to rot from the inside out. I guess we'll see which comes to pass.
I think if the world were to take action against us, it would be bad for the 99% of the country that isn't very wealthy while the 1% hoarding most of the wealth would simply leave and be perfectly fine.

capitalism will fall once developing nations realize they have the potential to overthrow the superpowers. this will happen in the next couple centuries. however, this will bring about another dark age, as everyone has gotten used to following America's lead in just about every sector of everything (the only real politics they know are anti-American politics) many people will die. chaos will ensue. New Orleans was not a sign of anything.
