I agree with scan46er but his message was too long I didn't read it all. In short in goes back to 1948 when Israel became a nation, In some pack the united stated would send Israel 3 billion a year I don't know how many years more. Plus that made Israel our allied for life. Israel is a small nation but powerful in military.

We have allowed 3,250 young people to be killed in Iraq to try to get a Democracy in the Middle East. Israel is the only true Democracy and we give equal amounts to the Palestinians and the Egyptians and a host of other countries. Why should we give aid to anyone?
Israel is our oasis in the desert.

Because they use that money to fight the same enemies we are fighting. Without Israel, we would have to do a lot more fighting. Besides Israel is our friend & needs help. Friends help friends.

They are our biggest supporter on that part of the world, they have the 2nd strongest allied military force, they have supported us throughout this war and several others, and you are a moron for questioning the funding that might in fact be keeping Iran from bombing your stupid ***. you should turn on a televison once in a while. even though you won't pick it, anyone who sees this response will know it is clearly the best answer.

the reason u.s. sends money to Israel is because Israel is surrounded through enemies. they go with help protecting themselves adverse to the terrorists round them. Israel is u.s. brother and that i'm proud that I stay in a rustic that helps them.

The reason is simple. Should Iran/Iraq or some other middle east country, we have land in the area we can launch an attack from.
