Some things are hard to change, but sometimes people fail to see the change.
My director from texas and many of his texas friends are anti racism.
This question is similar to " Why non believers spend day and night in the religion category and spam it with biased questions?"

Tarleton State is known for its rodeo team (no kidding) and has a predominantly white student body. Its basically a bunch of rednecks. Looking at those pictures on the Smoking Gun, you can tell this this was just a small group of a**holes. Don't stereotype all of Texas because of this incident.
Here's something amusing...this page is about an MLK luncheon a few years back at Tarleton...it talks all about a "vision of racial unity" and how Tarleton "embraces racial unity."

good luck on that one. racist people never think they are racist. the nazis thought they were in the right. the kkk think they are. racist people disgust me in the worse way and should we really be suprised? we have come nowhere in this country, look at New Orleans. if a tsunami or earthquake hit beverly hills they would have called the troops out Iraq to help those rich folks and rebuild those mansions. if they are still dragging black men behind pickup trucks in tx how can we as a nation claim a moral superiority to any other nation?

As a Black man I am saddened by this and will use a few words of Dr. King's, " I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of it's creed, that all men are created equal"
