I want to use the muppets stamps but not with the 2 cent additional stamp. Does anyone know if the current 39 cent rate will have a muppets stamp? I didn't find it in the postal service web site.

I think it is wonderful that we have American Humanitarians such as Angelina Jolie who travel to Third World Countries to provide monetary relief to those in desparate need of food, water and maybe clothing. But are other Humanitarians from different parts of the world traveling to America to help our people that are homeless and starving? Maybe because we feel that "their" situation is worse that we neglect our own?

The Supreme Court ruled US President George Bush had overstepped his powers by ordering military trials for terror suspects held at Guantanamo Bay.
The court found the tribunals violate both US military law and the Geneva Convention...

So does this make him a War criminal...

According this this article (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060629/ap_on_re_us/billionaires_abortion) by the AP, some people believe that with the funds of Warren Buffet, The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation will be an evil plague on the countries it seeks to help. What are your thoughts? Do you agree? If so, why? If not, what good would you like to see the foundation focus on?

There are so many people, from those religious groups that protest at funerals to those activists who publicly decry our being in the middle east, who protest in America. My question is, if they want peace so bad, why are they protesting in one of the few countries in the world that is not currently experiencing a war within their borders? Why wouldn't those people bring their message of peace to those countries who truly need it - like Sri Lanka, who have been experiencing a civil war for the past 30 years with a terrorist organization - the Tamil Tigers? Who didn't they bring their message of peace to Iraq, who's Kurdish people where slaughtered by the hundred of thousands by chemical weapons and military might over decades of Saddam Hussein's rule?
Isn't protesting within our borders about peace similar to walking into a crowded Denny's and screaming about how there are starving people in Africa? While the statement is true - couldn't you get more done IN AFRICA?
