It means a lot to me. We celebrate the birth of this great nation and honor those who have fought for it. However, we do not do the fireworks thing because it is illegal within the city limits. We do take our children to celebrations and to watch them put on publically. We love the great USA. That and my birthday is the 2nd so we make it one big party.

it should mean very much a whole lot to you, because this was the day the U.S delcared themselves independent & won the war from Britain. Fireworks is a symbol of glory and celebration. I myself dont shoot off fireworks, but i watch the fireworks that my city performs

Yes. I shoot off fireworks. It reminds me of my childhood, happy memories spent with my family. I have so many memories of sitting on the porch swing with my Grandma, the flag flapping in the breeze, watching the fireworks light up the sky.

For those who have a sense of nationalism in the United States of America, the lighting of fire works is symbolic and fun. It reminds us of the epic war we fought in for our freedom as a nation, our refusal to stand down and be oppressed. This is also relevant to the Star Spangled Banner, our national anthem, "... the bombs bursting in air, gave proof though the night that our flag was still there..." so you see, while many do it for fun, it has symbolic roots, and yes, i shoot them off because its fun and they look cool.

basically blow them off, you're no longer gonna circulate to detention center or something. the main the law enforcement officers are gonna do is say "howdy, end doing that". and then tell your neighbor to quit being a *****, there is fireworks everywhere
