First off, it's not the gun that kills, it's the person behind the gun. I have a son that as soon as he was ready to get behind a gun we took him to fish and game and put him through their hunting course...best thing we ever did. We bought a safe and lock up the guns, the bullets are kept in another safe. Be smart. Our right to bear arms is for our protection, too bad there are so many people in the world and making things nuts around here.

Yeah like that would ever happen, Look at Prohibition, did that work or when they banned Ecstacy, the problems only get worse, a good example of this situatuion is Mexico, Guns are banned in Mexico, Yet the general populus can still get large automatuic weapons from the booming Black market Gun trade.This is a bad idea and i hope it never happens.

I think it's stupid. Then the only ones with guns will be the criminals. What does the gov. think, that if they say no toguns, the criminal element will say, okay, whatever you say! " and get rid of their weapons, and become good law abiding citizens? That's insane! If I don't already own a firearm, I guarantee I'd get one if that law was passed, cause it will make the criminals even more fearless in their attacks. What a stupid law.

I say it should be illegal to NOT own a gun! Make every single person (once they’re old and mature enough) get a gun. Then no criminal would be stupid enough to try to rob anyone or commit any crime. The second they’d try to mug someone they’d get shot!
