Here's the key points:

Cheney bought insurance on the World Trade Center a few weeks before 9/11 because he knew it was coming down. While he doesn't know for "sure", he suspects Bush bought this same insurance on the World Trade Center too, because Bush certainly knew the attack was coming. He saw a copy of the insurance policy with signature on it online, so obviously it has to be true.

He didn't elaborate, but he also says that Condi Rice went on trial for 9/11.

On one hand if this is what the Conservatives are up against, we don't have anything to worry about. But on the other hand, if this kind of mindset represents even a fraction of American intelligence, we have far bigger problems than who wins the election next year.

I'm curious what others who heard the call thought of it.

Judge booted for flipping coin to decide By LARRY O'DELL,
A judge who ordered a woman to drop her pants and decided a custody dispute by flipping a coin was removed from the bench by the Virginia Supreme Court on Friday. The decision against Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court Judge James Michael Shull of Gate City was unanimous.

According to the court, Shull admitted tossing a coin to determine which parent would have visitation with a child on Christmas. Shull said he was trying to encourage the parents to decide the issue themselves but later acknowledged that he was wrong.

The pants-dropping incidents, the court said, "were even more egregious."

BOLINGBROOK, Illinois (CNN) -- Police are using tracking dogs, airplanes, infrared sensors and volunteers on foot Tuesday to look for a young mother who disappeared nine days ago, leaving her 4- and 2-year-old children behind.

Friends and relatives of Stacy Peterson, 23, say her disappearance is suspicious.

Or,let us put it this way
What if the current brutal military repression by Musharaf is taking place in Iran ?
Would Americans react differently ? Why ?
US blind and selfish support of Pakistan dictator really exposes its claim for democray for which it killed saddam hussein for being a dictator,or killing your own citizens is justified so long as you are a puppet servant to America.
Bear in mind, the current protest is by lawyers and moderate people who want someone that relate to them.
No media has reported that it is an extremist protest

Our government has been telling us, over and over, to assemble a "kit" and "be prepared" in the event of a natural, or other, disaster emergency? Are you even close?

Do you have at least 3 days food and water available right now?

Why/why not?

"The people most likely to die a violent death are babies under 1 year old, who are four times more likely to be killed than the average person in England and Wales."

Scary.

I am a teacher in an English secondary school.

Last month in the teacher's staff room I stated my opinion that women are, on average, of lower intelligence than men.

I have now been suspended, pending further investigation.

I've never had any complaints about my teaching and have never been accused of treating male and female students differently.

Can you now not saying anything, or be honest about your opinions, in case you offend someone?

We read that the Portuguese Police admit they found it difficult to control the McCanns appartment crime scene on the night of 3rd May 2007. But point out that the local officers had to contend with the alcohol filled McCanns and their 'Tapas' friends.

"They'd all been drinking. They weren't falling over but it was hard to deal with them"

'Leaks from inside the police investigation suggested the so-called Tapas Nine ordered daiquiris, martinis and beers before dinner, downed up to 14 bottles of wine with their meal, and usually enjoyed almond liqueur afterwards.'

Can we really blame local Portuguese Police for not being able to handle this child neglecting group of drunken Brits on a holiday binge ?

I remember that when the gas prices started to go up, people would get angry about it; wherever I went, stores, movie theathers etc. everyone was expressing their concerns; people organized protests, etc. And now when the prices are well above $3 a gallon it seems that nobody cares, at least I don't hear enough complains. What are your thoughts on it.

Do you think spending the money looking for oil in America is going to be better than paying over 3.00 a gallon of gas???

I was watching the news last night and they were doing a story on fuel economy and thought I would ask for other opinions.
Personnally I think if it will help keep gas prices down in the future, then it's worth looking into!!
