We have a huge council house in our street.

The extended family is run by a grumpy old woman with a pack of fierce dogs.

Her car isn't taxed or insured, and doesn't even have a number plate, but the police still do nothing.

Her bad tempered old man is famous for upsetting foreigners with racist comments.

A shopkeeper blames him for ordering the murder of his son and his son's girlfriend, but nothing has been proven yet.

All their kids have broken marriages except the youngest, who everyone thought was gay.

Two grandsons are meant to be in the Army but are always seen out in nightclubs.

The family's odd antics are always in the papers. They are out of control...

Honestly - who'd live near Windsor Castle?

Heather Mills has launched a fierce attack on the press, comparing her treatment at the hands of the media with that of Kate McCann and Princess Diana.
Tell her what you really think of her:

The vile views expressed on the Internet sites are not representative of the British public. We are absolutely 100% behind them in their search for their abducted daughter Madeleine. Good luck

Do you agree?
Thanks

I'm doing a research paper on the relationship between the media and the government (federal), so some points to consider when answering:
- right when the Sponsorship Scandal was hit, Canada suffered the lowest turnout in history the 2004 election
- at this time the media ran stories about it very often; Sheila Fraser (the auditor-general) became a household name
- so can it be taken that the media's 'in-your-face' reporting made people tired of politics and voting?
- or are there other reasons to consider for the apathy of the masses?

Thanks for answering!

a few days ago the u.n. stated that overpopulation is a threat to the planet.i would have thought that he would have been outraged and fallen off his balcony.but nothing heard from him.has he realised that his religion and his fanatical opposition to birth control is a major factor for the u.n. statement and he and his religion is the greatest contributor to overpopulation.what about the other ethnic and cultures that insist on having children in double didget figuers reguardless or whether they can feed them, what say you.?.do we now go the way of the chinese and have one child per familly or the way the australians do when they have too many kangaroos and cull?

"FEMA is handling another disaster -- its own Public Relations department. ... This is unbelievable to me! FEMA has apologized for staging a fake news conference on the California wildfires. ... They had a fake news conference in which FEMA employees pretended to be reporters and asked softball questions to their idiot boss, a guy named Harvey Johnson. It was obvious the reporters were FEMA workers because the questions were about the 2003 fire."
What were they thinking!

I think it's time someone took notice of all these things and spoke out! I have been tooting the horn on much of these for so long but it just seems it all falls on deaf ears anyhow.

Why don't people care enough to stop using and buy these and why don't they scream loud and clear to politicians and put a stop to this kind of abuse and manipulation? I mean it IS within our control is it not?

I was just curious as to how many in the general public support the death penalty. If you do not, what is your reasoning and would you support it for certain crimes?

Did anyone notice Hillary's updated version of a mullet last night? I really hope this is not going to cause a trend amoung libs as the "headband" craze did.

It seems that the bombing of Iran is inevitable if Iran insists in stalling and not remove its nuclear capability. Obviously Iranian assets in the world will also be a target and neutralizedto avoid terror attacks. Iranian embassies personnel I am sure are currently watched.

Why are so many people ready to jump on the bandwagon and bash her? Make fun of her handicap? How rude.

It seems to me that I have learned something about Brits. So many of you are ready to condem people who are down on their luck. The newspapers are vicious and will print anything without proof. I would think they spend millions of dollars a year in liability settlements.

Paul McCartney was right, he doesn't even look at the press.
I can see why.

as an Englishman and owner of many major US based companies I feel I must ask this.
Many of the Americans that I own are very nice and they work very hard when pushed, but they cant shoot things properly and their aim is always out.
As we all know Americans soldiers have the same problem, which makes me ask these questions.
1)Do Americans have bad eye sight?
2)Are American gun barrels bent?
3)Are Americans just stupid?
You decide

Be it J.K.Rowing or Richard Branson or Heather Mills...

If you're a celeb & you dare to empathise & support the McCanns search for their Madeleine & if you actually dare to have the gumption to question the wild tabloid speculation, you're in for it.
