Jazz41, funny you would bring this up. No, I do not believe that this alleged boy firestarter is responsible for these fires. Do you know that I have thought from the very beginning that these fires somehow look more like set ups? Why? Just too many fires and very slow responses!

I hope not because that poor kid probably will be frowned upon for the rest of his life, that and now they are all talking about sueing the parents, whatever happened to accidents, forgive and forget, yes people lost a lot and I pray for them each day, but I don't feel making that boys suffer for the rest of his life will make anything change!

Yes, I do believe one boy started one fire. There were many different fires that we dont know who or what started.

All the fires seemed to be bound toward homes, which was unusual in itself many residents said.

He started ONE of the fires (in total, I believe their were 16 in various areas) and, unfortunately for him and his family, it was one of the more destructive ones.

I'm kinda torn. Yeah, I wouldn't put it past the kid to do so ( because he said he did have a part in it ) but what a burden to carry!! I don't think he was the only one to have a part in it. It's a tragedy all around indeed! )-:

Silly little git...bet he thought he was doing something so fun. I believe he did start it but also with another friend...maybe, but he's taking all the wrap for it!

no, why are they so obsessed with finding a scapegoat, I don't think it is possible for one kid to start that huge fire, he probably didn't really do it, he just felt guilty because his mom told him to never play with matches and then felt guilty after the fires started. think about him having to live with that his whole life when it probably isn't true
