Rush Limbaugh is smart enough to build a fortune by having a show where he just blathers on about politics, like the people you avoid at parties.
Where Rush Limbaugh is not smart is in his attempts to become more mainstream. He was fired from ESPN for making a foolish (and incorrect) racist comment. He hasn't written any books in over ten years. His television show was canceled. As a result, Rush Limbaugh is a very big (and rich) fish in a very small pond (talk radio.)
So, I guess he's smarter than I am, but probably not as smart as his fans think.

He is an extremely intelligent man with some great views, but he is very narrow minded about politics. He feels that republicans are always right no matter what. Unfortunatly this is not always true. I feel that he could be the smartest if he chose a more of the middle of the road stance.

I wouldn't say anyone was the smartest in the world but he is very knowledgeable and backs everything he says up..He very intelligent and knows his stuff.
