Bloke in Cornwall has bad ankle and needs op. He's in great pain and has been prescribed morphine. He smokes and has been told he has to stop before the hospital will operate. The hospital say he is at risk from the operation because of his smoking?

In the meantime, the bloke says he's worried he'll get addicted to morphine if this goes on for much longer.

In my mind there are still many embarrassing problems that remain concerning the official account, explaination concerning the Pentagon strike many of which are also omitted in the report issued by the 9/11 commission.

On Aug 6, 2006 The Washington Post a paper of national record reported the following, quote:
"Some staff members and commissioners of the Sept. 11 panel concluded that the Pentagon's initial story of how it reacted to the 2001 terrorist attacks may have been part of a deliberate effort to mislead the commission and the public rather than a reflection of the fog of events on that day, according to sources involved in the debate."

In this same report former Governor of New Jersey and Chairman of the 9/11 commission Thomas Kean said this, quote:

"We to this day don't know why NORAD [the North American Aerospace Command] told us what they told us."

"It was just so far from the truth. . . . It's one of those loose ends that never got tied."

With so much information and news out now, we should all be more aware of the wars/ rumors of war. But let's think a minute: We were lied to about why we went to war, let alone the fact that there was not, according to the our Constitution, an official DECLARATION of WAR. Think, Congress did not declare war, Bush did; but Congress let him move forward. Now ask yourself why? (9/11) was a kickoff to the rumor of war.
The news we get on our basic TV stations is "news reporting" not real news. Want real news? Some of my sources: Mosiac.com, LinkTV.com as well as link TV on satellite, and Presstv.com

So, I saw last night on Best Week Ever that everyone out there in the media world was saying how Kanye and fifty releaseing their albums on 9/11 was creating 9/11 as a monumental day blah blah. Well, BWE was making fun because "how dare they make 9/11 into a relese war when it was already a monumental day and basicall saying it was wrong for them to try and steal the attention from the historical significance.
Does anyone out there agree that they, especially Kanye were trying to make light of the day and turn it into something more than a day we all fear. I just feel they were trying to make a good memory of the day and try and get people to focus on something else because if we always get emotional and fearful the terrorists are getting what they want. I also think it was a way for Kanye to say FU to Bush and make they day about a war just as rediculous as the one in Iraq. Any other thoughts?

This seems harsh but it's an observation I've made on here.

FIRSTLY, I'M NOT SHOUTING JUST TRYING TO BE CLEAR: THERE ARE MANY OPINIONS BASED ON HOW PEOPLE FEEL ABOUT THE ACTUAL CASE - I DON'T MEAN THOSE. OK???

I mean the comments based on comments like (not direct quotes): 'They should pay for their own defense - have you seen the size of their house'
'If they were working class we'd all be down on them more for leaving their kids'
'they think they're beyond the law because they're middle class'

I don't understand why their jobs and lifestyle has anything to do with it.

Also, do you think that the way their personalities are coming accross in the press is going against them with some people? They don't come accross as the most likeable, loveable people. I can see that too. But, it doesn't make them murderers does it?

It's almost as if their wealth and personalities have turned them into pantomime villains for some people.

Our troops are spread so thin that they don't get to come home for a year and a half to see their families.

There will be more troops in Iraq after the so called "Troop Cuts" than there were before Bush escalated his war with the surge over the summer.
