There are 50 states, and some don't even get a nuclear waste dump, or nuclear missile silo. Even illegal immigrants avoid them! So what if a highly motivated terrorist cell, spiked that states' water supply with LSD, and just moved in, lock, stock, and barrel.

Yahoo News and CNN were talking about the Youtube video featuring a baby Water buffalo being attacked by Lions and then Crocodiles. And yet they all list the attack from Lions and Alligators. Are they that stupid to believe that Alligators live in Africa? The film was shot in Kruger National Park in South Africa. There are no alligators there...
Don't these people check their sources?

I want to know more about this. It was right after September 11, there was an American Airlines plane, en route to some caribean country, crashed in Brooklyn/Bronx or something, it was like the whole neighborhood was on fire. Nobody talks about that accident, once i saw a brief story about it and said that it was caused by wind shear, but i want to know more about it. Any ideas?

Can we get a petition going to demand that Yahoo put "Discussion" back in Yahoo News? I think it's completely ridiculous that they removed it. It's getting to the point where we're not even allowed to have a Constitutionally guaranteed opinion in this ever devolving country.

The pick-up does sound louder, but I don't drive very much, maybe about 6 miles a day, just to work and back. Now, I need to go out of town, I'll be on the highway for about 2 and a half hours, round trip. Will it be OK? Or do I need to have it fixed before I go? I just hate spending money on an old pick-up. Thanks!

Well... It seems that MOST of the Arabs are unhappy with their situation (including me)... their land is being destroyed, they have no voice in the world, they are getting bombed and sanctioned in their homelands, and when they flee to western countries, they are treated like crap and told that they should go back to their homelands, where there is nothing left.

But yet, its ironic to see how the west keeps telling us that everything is fine and dandy and that we should stop "complaining." Give me reasons why we shouldn't be unhappy?

AND NONE OF THAT MISGUIDED STEREOTYPING THAT WE ARE RICH OIL TYCOONS, BECAUSE MOST OF US ARE NOT!

Since this case has busted itself wide open over the last couple of days, Gerry has stopped writing in his blog (today is the first day he's missed in the blog since it started), he apparently has pulled the twins out of the playgroup, and their world tour of Portugal planned for Madeleines 100th has been canned, as has co-incidentally Justine McGuinness.

Its almost as though it was the last stop on the tube and the driver has announced 'All change please. All change.'

Its all kicking off people ..... that must mean the truth can't be far away ......

You'd have thought two people who work in the medical profession would know how to remove all trace of the blood. Making an 'attempt to clean it up' doesn't sound like the work of two medical professionals. It sounds more amateur and slapdash. What do you think?

(just to make my stance clear, i'm neither pro nor anti McCann. Something doesn't sit right with me where the McCanns are concerned but i'm not at the stage of accusing them of murder)

Democrat Senator Barack Obama has announced his intention to run for president in 2008.

International leaders have criticised Barack Obama for saying US troops should withdraw from Iraq next year. John Howard, Australian PM, has said Mr Obama's stance on Iraq "will just encourage those who want to completely destabilise" the country.

The 45-year-old senator is widely considered to be the first African-American candidate with a realistic chance of winning the presidency.

What do you think of Mr Howard's statement? Has Obama proved he has what it takes to be president? What advantage does his early stance against the war give him? What about race: if you're an African-American voter, does Obama's colour matter?

Does anybody think that this sorry saga is now coming to a conclusion and what do you think that conclusion will be. I think that Kate is beginning to break down now, but I have grave doubts about Gerry. I think that he runs the show in that marriage.

Has anyone read this article that was on the front page of Yahoo news? http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20070808/od_afp/swedenanimalsoffbeat Is anyone else outraged?
Here are some quotes from the article: "A grandmother taking a leisurely swim in a Swedish river ended up in the hospital after a beaver attacked her with its tail, regional newspaper Nerikes Allehanda reported Wednesday."
"The authorities have decided to kill the dozen or so beavers living near the beach to eliminate any further risk to local bathers."
Are they joking? They are going to KILL 12 more beavers because 1 attacked after a human entered into THEIR territory. What other choice did the beaver have? It was doing what beavers do...what any wild animal does, protect it's home.
Does anyone else feel disgusted that us humans can be so selfish? We think everything on this planet is about US and what is best for US. Forget sharing anything with the animals on this planet.
What is your opinion?

"England rugby stars have filmed a video appeal in the hunt for Madeleine.

It will be posted on the YouTube website on Saturday, the 100th day since she was snatched in Portugal.

Skipper Phil Vickery said: "It's up to us all to keep looking because I still believe Madeleine is alive. Someone out there knows something."

Burly prop Phil, who met Kate and Gerry McCann last month, added: "I put myself in their position and it makes my stomach turn."

Stars from Madeleine's favourite soccer team Everton will also make filmed pleas."

Im not surprised Phil Vickery's stomach turned. What the McCanns did was disgusting.
