upsetting their routine, so why has it happened? It's not as if they are returning home. I am not bashing anyone here, so please don't let this question become a battle ground for pro or anti McCann groups.

No one has actually said that Gerry and Kate are looking after them yet, so don't assume I think being with their parents is wrong!

The McCann's should have brought the twins home months ago, IMHO. Maybe the recent suspicions reported by the Press have made them realise how a percentage of the world sees them, as uncaring and arrogant people who you wouldn't trust to look after your dog, let alone children.
Either that, or they are preparing to do a very quick runner.
BTW, remember in the beginning of this case, when everyone was still pushing the "abduction" angle? Why would anyone post on the internet what their other children look like PLUS where they are at any time of the day? Wouldn't that be asking for more trouble IF there was an abductor about? Yet again, it is just one piece in this puzzle that makes no sense at all. Poor, poor Madeleine, she was neglected by her parents while she was with them, and has become a "cash cow" since she went missing. I hope that she will be found alive and well, but I doubt it very much.
Edit: Yahoo News has repeated the "Murat's lawyer says stuff about Gerry & Kate" story now.

The explanation for removing the twins from the Kids Club is this:
"The move followed concerns about photographers taking pictures of their children and disturbing holidaymakers using the child-minding facility."
Which backs up my point above, it's ok for The McCann's to publish pictures of the Twins for publicity, but no one else is allowed to? Surely the Twins should have been kept out of the limelight completely and never have had their pictures splashed all over the world's press in the first place?

I think now it is just to punish the parents. At first I could understand how people were reacting but not now. Social Services have been to see the and have found everything in order. For some unknown reason, there are some people who just will not get by that one fact (their leaving the children alone when they went out), they just want to see them punished now. I think to take the kids now at this stage be the final straw. I think it would break them both. Those 2 kids seem to be the only lifeline they have. I am sure Social Services have taken this into account before making that decision. Why people can't see that, I will never understand. Why do some people want to see them punished even more than they already are at the moment is beyong me!! What good would it do to have their two remaining children taken away and to where........... a care home. Why? What have they done?

Considering Gerry and Kate were adamant the twins routine shouldn't be disturbed I'm surprised. Perhaps they feel happier with the twins close to them - perhaps they are feeling guilty about leaving them with others now (a little too late most people will say). I'm sure the twins bring them comfort at this time.

I think it's a little to late in the day for Gerry & Kate to start looking after there own children, ( look what happen on may 3rd ) maybe the have a new nanny, sure as hell Gerry & Kate are not looking after the twins on their own. if they are, what happens again, when they go out for dinner?

That money better be donated to a local children`s charity....LOL, or it`ll be the most disgusting scam ...I remember when Jonbenet`s parent`s set up a charity in her name and then all of a sudden the charity was no longer active.. I think people caught on.... WHY DO WE NEED TO DONATE MONEY TO SHOW OUR SUPPORT??? Emails and condolences should be enough. Besides, $500,000,000 won`t bring Maddie back!!! I bet their saving the money for a good lawyer!!!!!

It seems the McCanns can't smarten up to their ways unless they read it in the news or online. People have been critisizing them online for sometime for putting the twins in daycare day after day rather then having them close to them so what finally they know have an epiphany?

They are in a blind panic..... banning Portugueses media from press conference, taking twins from creche, changing their spokes person ,changing apartments , cancelling the 100 day balloon releasing ...etc etc. Their train is about to hit the buffers !! Hope someone took away their passports.

They have probably been "advised" to do as much damage limitation as possible, perhaps actually spending time with their remaining children is part of it.

Sounds like they want to come across as more family oriented.
They have had a lot of bashing for dumping the twins in a creche when they are not working. I think its going to be "damned if the do and damned if they don't. I would not like to say what the right thing for them to do is. They will come across badly whatever.
