Supposedly they left the 3 little kids "unattended" to go to a party that was 100 yards away and took turns every 30 min to check on them....Are they stupid? Who in their right mind leaves toddlers alone and without adult's watching them? To me that is parent neglect and just stupidity on their part.

I really hope they find that little girl but they need to also take the child from her parents. The parents obviously don't care about their kids safety and welfare...they are only caring about themselves. People like them don't desearve kids.

I wonder what is causing the gas prices to rise so high? I dont understand why they keep going up and up. It seems like the United States is the only country with these crazy gas prices. I just would like to know why. Thanks!

Boycotting one gas company or all gas companies for one day or for one month might not bring down the oil companies. But it brings awareness to our government leaders and causes them to come out of the closet. It also sends a message to the oil companies that the world is mad at their manipulation and colusion of gas prices. Reduce our intake of fuel? Maybe...we can try, but the gas companies have gotten smarter. The gas companies will just produce less in order to keep demand high. They will still earn as much profit as before. They won't build anymore refineries to produce more supply. The only way is for the government to step in and place restrictions on how quickly gas prices can increase and require a certain amount of fuel surplus to surpress a gas spike when a natural disaster hits a fuel region. All businesses have the right to make profits. Oil companies included, but they have to realize that their line of business can affect all businesses. Keep the flags flying

A whacko rightwing bomb thrower gets non-stop coverage, but one of the greatest novelists and a truly compassionate and brilliant man like Kurt Vonnegut barely gets mentioned.

The American media's priorities are all screwed up.

I cannot believe that the press has not said a word about this. I do understand that it might come off as an insensitive and heartless thing to say as their beautiful daughter is now suffering from their stupidity, but shouldnt this be addressed??

Iraqi government bans American photographers and camera operators from bombing sites in new policy
Tuesday May 15, 2007
BAGHDAD (AP) Iraqi police prevented news photographers and camera operators from filming the scene of a bombing Tuesday under a new policy limiting coverage of the devastating explosions that have become a hallmark of the violence in the country.

To enforce its order that a group of Iraqi journalists leave Tayaran Square, where the bombing occurred, police fired several shots in the air, reporters said. This is freedom of press?

Brig. Gen. Abdel Karim Khalaf, the operations director at the Interior Ministry, said this weekend that Iraq's government has decided to bar news photographers and cameramen from the scene of bombings. Gen Abdel Khalaf says "This is to prevent the people in the USA to see to see the truth". Out of sight.....Out of mind Gen khalaf says.
