Wow, thats tough, she was beloved in countries the world around. It is hard to think of anyone who is held with such high regard as she was as the current time. If i had to take a guess at it....maybe the Pope. Not because he has been the Pope long enough to affect the hearts of people worldwide but because he is the head of the Catholic church and there are millions of Catholics worldwide. He would be mourned in virtually all corners of the world, barring a few totally Muslin countries.

The Queen would probably be the closest. Not much sense in the craziness that happened with Diana, other than there was not anything else going on of substance, so it became the Big Story in countries other than the UK also. Given the Queen's longevity, certainly her death would be significant, across the world since she is on a lot of the world's currency.

personally I would say Kylie,after her recent illness and all,and how people where shocked at her diagnosis.hopefully though,all that is behind her now and she will remain in remission.
