Is crime as bad in your country as it is in the US? I mean, where I live, it's not that bad, but every time I watch the news, its like the whole country is nuts. Thanks to our wonderful reporting system, we barely hear anything about another country except the one's we're at war with.

For over a week, everyday, all I heard about was how poor crazed Britney Spears hacked her hair off! Who cares!? There are other (important) things I'd like to hear about on the morning (afternoon & evening too) news. What are your thoughts? Is it like this in other countries? Why are these mundane things so sensationalized?

I see all these reports about people addicted to games such as World of Warcraft. Why do parents find interactive gameplay as a problem but not a problem with having the television on every second they're home, and having a TV in more than one room of the house?

They claim it's because they spend no time with family when playing these games, but yet having a TV in more than one room is for privacy as well. I would think that MMORPG games and internet are a better form of entertainment than television. At least there is interaction in gameplay and online chatting.

Well, we know that they existed. He used them . The question is : what happened to them. No doubt they existed. Iraqi Air Force General Georges Asad recently wrote his book which explains dates, times and people. The WMD's are in Syria, transported there under the guise of humanitarian earthquake relief. Do Democrats hate Bush so much and are they so tied to their own convenient belief that they will not accept this?

Rick DiMaio was a very good meteorologist on FoxNews Chicago. I heard he got fired for inquiring about a new person (Amy Freeze-yes that IS her last name-she's 32 and remember, H2O freezes at 32 degrees, or at least that's what she said.) I watched her debut as the new weatherwoman on FoxNews Chicago, and she was so out of it. Not to be rude, but her forecast was awful. She didn't have a clue about what she was talking about. Here's what she said. (Pointing to the Green Screen map,) "Here's another snowstorm forming in the Midwest over here." Here's what my dad said right after she said that statement. " Uh, honey, we ARE in the Midwest!" She went on to say a few other things that didn't make sense. The next day, she was still acting like that. I watched her forecast ever since she debuted Monday, Feb. 26th, 2007, and she is totally off the mark. Does anyone care to comment on the whereabouts of Rick DiMaio or Amy Freeze's ridiculous forecasts? Forget it if u don't know about them.

Below is some part of the newspaper article:

In an incident that at first left police incredulous, two men were charged Thursday in Southington with shooting a man in the leg with a blowgun. Police said the man was shot as he walked out of a store on Queen Street.

The man was one of three people shot apparently at random in the space of half an hour Thursday in Plainville and Southington. In all three cases, the attackers drove past their victim as they fired, police said.

Arrested were Jason Plourde, 27, of Waterbury, and Edward Youle, 33, of Southington. Police said they found three blowguns and a box of darts in their sport-utility vehicle.

"They thought it was funny," Southington Police spokesman Sgt. Lowell DePalma said.

No one was seriously hurt, but one of the victims in Plainville went to the hospital to get a tetanus shot, said Plainville police Lt. Brian Mullins.

The attacks occurred on busy stretches of road, and the two in Plainville occurred less than half a mile apart.

A few minutes later, a woman pumping gas at a service station a short distance from the shopping center was hit in the back.
