A warning to all of people accross the United States that the heatwave's going to happen again this year and the heatwave this year is predicted to be much hotter than last year which kill over 100 people accross the United States (mostly Western). So just get prepared for it. For me I almost die from the heatwave last year by underestimating the heatwave.

Here are some tips:

Key rules for coping with heat:

-Drink plenty of fluids such as water and fruit juices
Avoid caffeine and alcohol that can make dehydration worse
-Wear loose-fitting, lightweight and light-colored clothing to protect against the sun’s rays
-Wear a wide-brimmed hat and sunglasses
-Remember to use sunscreen with an SPF of 15 or higher to protect your skin
-Never leave children or pets in a car unattended-even with the windows open!
-Instead of large meals, eat smaller meals more frequently
-Limit strenuous activities outdoors - Slow down and take frequent breaks
-Limit outdoor activities from 10 a.

I'm sick and tired of the media running this junk 24/7 as though we'd lost a freakin' national treasure or something. Why would America look up to a Gold-digging ex-stripper junkie??

Does anyone know the name of the person who is featured on Yahoo home page today (Feb. 16, 2007) with a background of 2 big pigs (one red & the other black) with the subject heading: What the pig predicts (Will the Chinese New Year bring luck or disaster)? Please give me more details of him now (e.g. his profession) if you know him.

He looks very like a person whom I met in Hong Kong 17 years ago. He was born in the year of pig.

Does anyone also know where was the picture taken? Please give me more details if you know (e.g the exact place, not just a country or a city's name).

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I need to find significant events of 1994. Preferably a website that contains what the number 1 songs were or television series that came in or went out in that year. A chronicle of popular culture in that year

The soldiers? Homeless people in America? Cancer solutions? I am sick of hearing about the sad death of Anna N. Her poor baby. You know we wouldn't be buying the real truth in our great country. Instead we tune in to the entertainment channels to hear the dirt, but turn our backs on the reality. Let's not forget the true hero's and stars. THE REAL HEADLINES DON'T MAKE $.

A lot of people say that the wars in Afganistan and Iraq (and perhaps soon Iran) are good because it keeps the terrorists "over there". And if we pull out - these people say - we'll have to fight them here at home.

Does this argument have any merit or validity?

Isn't it inevitable that we'll have to fight terrorism here anyway. And, in fact, that making war against other countrries might only increase the chances of terrorist attacks at home?

What do you think?
