Trident is Britain's only form of launching nuclear weapons and there are numerous calls for it to be scrapped? Can't people see that this is ridiculously dangerous? I know people say that today the threat comes from terroists rather than actual states, but how can you predict where tomorrow's threat will come from? Surely you must agree that scrapping trident is leaving us open to unnessercery danger?

The New York senator has reportedly outed Obama's madrassa past. That's right, the Clinton team is reported to have pulled out all the stops to reveal something Obama would rather you didn't know: that he was educated in a Muslim madrassa.

I was criticized on this show for outing Obama as a smoker, but look at what some anti-Obama Democrats are doing to her political rival now. They are playing the Muslim phobia card.

Last time I heard was they slipped into a Pakistani village, and the Paki gov. sent some troops get them but they escaped in advance of the raid.

We've got global terrorism, lethal superbugs that can't be cured with antibiotics, we've got global warming which is already starting to show, China are testing missiles, the US want to station missiles in the Czech Republic so now the Russians are getting edgy, we've got the threat of bird flu, economic depression, rising debt, rising obesity, rising mental illness, everybody's scared, everyone hates each other because they can't make the effort to understand each other, the media totally stirs it all up to make profit, warping everyone's minds, and who else just wants to stand up and shout "STOP!" hang on for just a second. Calm down. With all the ecological and medical crises, how can anyone be bothered with war and fighting? Why are the people in power so damn unWISE and hate-filled and money grabbing and what can all the little people do about it? I mean, what the hell happened to civilisation, respect, honour, diplomacy, sorting things out and talking things through?

They are talking about reforming the law so more convictions due to a woman being too drunk to make an informed decision - that would be defined as rape. But isnt it true that men often wake up to a mistake in their bed - would that count as rape?

Should people be more responsible for themselves not to get drunk in public in the first place?

Also, should both parties be kept a secret from press and general public until successful conviction.

If a person accusing someone of rape is then found to be lying should they have to pay comp, fines or be imprisoned?

Yesterday the report was released to the media that the RUC worked hand in hand with a Loyalist UVF death squad in North Belfast during the 1990's. The report also stated that this was only the tip of the iceberg and that this collusion between the RUC and Pro-British murder gangs took place on a massive scale right across the North of Ireland not just in North Belfast. Obviously the British government must bear responsibilty for this and it is a disgrace that they allowed their state agencies to involve themselves in the murders of innocent people. As someone who has lost 4 friends to Pro-British death squads I say that this report shows why Irish people can never support any form of British involvement in Ireland. People must oppose attempts by Sinn Fein and the Provisional IRA to betray the Irish people by supporting the British state police in this part of Ireland in order to get their politicians into the government of British occupied Ireland
