Terrism will stop when people are taught simple rules of respect of religion, home, and government. This starts in the home by teaching your children. Problem is, the terrist or teaching their children to do the same.

Terrorists were not born but they were made. People who are deprived of justice, equality and victims of high handedness are becoming terrorists as they have lost faith in constitutional machinery. Bush has ruined two countries in the name of war against terrorism. Thost two countries and their people are very weak and they cann't fight with mighty Bush and so to take revenge they join terrorism. We call these innocent victims as terrorists but we dared not to call the Bush, the world's No. 1 terrorist, though it is a fact. The world wide victims of terrorism are not more than ten thousand. But the victims of terrorism of Bush are more than ten lakhs. Remember what America did to Japan during world war II, what it did to vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan. It is the America which supplied mustard gas to Iraq and cyanide to Iran. It has transformed the Bin Laden into Terrorist for its selfish interests in Afghan-Russian war. It is the country having weapons of mass distruction sufficient enought to smash this world 1000 titmes. As long as the mighty people continue their atrocities on the week, the terrorism stays. The main root cause of terrorism in the middle east is the nasty Israel and the America who is backing it. If America is really interested in peace and to curb terrorism first it should settle the Palestinian issue and make Israel to withdraw and handover those areas of the neighbouring countries which the Israel occupied it. The Kashmir issue, ULFA issue, Tamil Tigers issue etc., needs to be settled amicably. Religion based politics should be strictly banned. The Terrorism has nothing to do with the religion. It is the people who lost the hope of getting justice, and who suffered badly for no fault of them in the hands of mighty people and nations joining terrorism as they have no alternative, for this religion should not be blamed. What would you do if your people are raped, your children are butchered and burnt, your property was robbed infront of your eyes by some powerful people and the Govt. Police, Courts etc., did not do justice to you. Whom to blame if you turn to be a terrorist? Can your religion be blamed for this? Let us hope that the blood shed so far will become an eye opener and the atrocities will stop and the nations and leaders work for resolving the disputes with broad mindedness so that the peace rule the world.

yes i think that terrorism can be stopped but the main thing that we should be concerned wit is that we should know the main cause of the terrorists "the so called jihadis".
we all should understand the demands or the difficulties they face, may be due to some hardships caused to them by knowingly or unknowingly.
many such cases are there all around the world for us to see. like the one in JAMMU KASMIR, ulfa in SRI LANKA or may be the MAUWADIS in NEPAL.
All of these people are having some problems with their respective governments or some basic rights are there of which they are deprived of.
