Please join in remembering a great icon of the entertainment community. The Pillsbury Doughboy died yesterday of a yeast infection and trauma complications from repeated
pokes in the belly. He was 71. Doughboy was buried in a lightly greased coffin. Dozens of celebrities turned out to pay their respects, including Mrs. Butterworth, Hungry Jack, the California Raisins, Betty Crocker, the Hostess Twinkies, and Captain Crunch. The grave site was piled high with flours.
Aunt Jemima delivered the eulogy and lovingly described Doughboy as a man who never knew how much he was kneaded.
Doughboy rose quickly in show business, but his later life was filled with turnovers. He was not considered a very smart cookie, wasting much of his dough on half-baked schemes. Despite being a little flaky at times he still was a crusty old man and was considered a roll model for millions. Doughboy is survived by his wife Play Dough, two children, John Dough and Jane Dough.

Okay terrorists kill people at will and at random. I don't care about what they think is at stake or what they believe anymore when they kill children still being wrapped in blankets and held in their mothers arms. So do you think we should allow a war to continue by conventional means? Or should we fight terror with terror. Bomb their schools. Blow up cars down their streets. Hit them at random until they bring all their terrorists up for execution in the public square on national TV.

Women, too, are inferior in Abu Usamah's eyes. He tells his audience: "Allah has created the woman - even if she gets a PhD - deficient. Her intellect is incomplete, deficient. She may be suffering from hormones that will make her emotional. It takes two witnesses of a woman to equal the one witness of the man."

BRITAIN'S NEW PREACHERS OF HATE
By Bobby Pathak - Mirror
IN a dilapidated mosque, half a dozen awestruck young men listen to a preacher spell out his vision for Britain.
"King, Queen, House of Commons... if you accept it, you are a part of it," says Dr Ijaz Mian. "If you don't accept it, you have to dismantle it.
"So you being a Muslim, you have to fix a target. There will be no House of Commons. From that White House to this Black House, we know we have to dismantle it.
"Muslims must grow in strength... then take over."

The Lancet report estimated in late October that about 655,000 Iraqis had died since the American invasion of Iraq. Since around ten thousand more have lost their lives.

On December 31st 2006 the death toll of American Soldiers reached 3000, more than the number of people who died in the WTC (which, granted has absolutely nothing to do with Iraq).

Why is it that the majority in America is calling for the withdrawal of troops and an end to this invasion, only now that it is clear that the USA is not able to win this war and the American people aren't prepared to lose more troops?

With nearly a quarter of a million civilian Iraqis dead already as a direct result of Bush's intervention in Iraq, do you not think it's about time we started valuing human life rather than doing so only on condition that the person whose life is to be saved has the same passport as you?

How can we as Americans know what good for this country? Who made us an expert? We don't even know why the different tribes are fighting? We don't realize that half of the wives of the leaders in the Middle East are from Syria. We don't realize that IRAN is persian and Syrian are Arabians. We must learn to work together, and find a solution. I would try that then sending 20,000 more troops, but 20,000 UN Peace Workers. The problems that this country has with America is "Trust." You forget we killed their relatives and cousins. Everybody in these countries are related on these borders. Resmember this was the Ottoman Empire. Most of these people re not fighters.

Radio personality Tim Riley once wrote: "'With God on Our Side' manages to voice political savvy mixed with generational naivete" as it "draws the line for those born long enough after World War I to find its issues blurry ('the reasons for fightin'/I never did get') and who view the forgiveness of the World War II Germans as a farce."

in what essay, article, paper, whatever, did tim riley write this, please provide link
