Another Kassam rocket was fired at Israel Wednesday afternoon from northern Gaza, the 17th since the shaky ceasefire went into effect November 26.

The rocket landed in the western Negev near one of the kibbutzim in the area. There were no reports of injuries or damage. Security forces are trying to locate the precise location where the rocket landed.

AIDS killed about 13,000 Americans last year. Cancer killed about 500,000. AIDS is 100% preventable by personal responsibility. Cancer is not preventable (with minor exceptions).
Yet AIDS gets far more attention from liberal "do-gooders" who are obviously NOT concerned with helping humanity, but only with their own image by attaching to whatever cause is "trendy" and popular.
It disgusts me.
Anyone who does NOT acknowledge that personal responsibility is the #1 way to stop AIDS is actually hurting humanity and is not truly concerned with helping people.
Let's stop diverting disproportionate amounts of funding & effort to AIDS, an easily preventable condition, and instead use it to help cancer & heart disease victims, who are the TRUE victims.

He's retard for putting his family in danger. Taking a mountain road in the middle of a snowstorm. And to top things off, he went around in circles!

The first rule when you're lost in the wilderness is to stay put and wait for rescue. He chose to set out in street clothes through mountains during winter. That may be brave, but it is also stupid. I don't think doing stupid things should qualify a person for the title "hero" that the media is using.

Because of his foolish choice, his wife is a widow and his kids will grow up without a father. What is did was foolish, not heroic.

is he considered a hero? Frankly, I think he was an idiot. He missed the interstate exit and decided to take a mountain road in the middle of a rain/snow storm putting his family in danger. After EIGHT whole days of being stuck with cell phones and a car, he goes looking for help dressed in only tennis shoes and a sweater, with the temperature dropping down to 20's at night.
I'm sorry to say, it was unfortunate someone had to die, but he is this year's recipient of the Darwin award.

Why and how can we condone the spending of billions of dollars for NASA to fly to the moon and beyond when the money could be used for so many things that affect us right here, right now?I find it appalling that we can't feed and clothe some of our citizens but we fund a bunch of space boys to play Star Trek. There are much better ways to spend the money.I realize the government is involved, but still, this is ridiculous. After almost after 40 years since we landed on the moon, what has been accomplished that warrants this kind of waste?

i mean first of all the people involved in the iraq study group looked like they were from homer simpson's father's old peoples home. they all looked very retarded. the guy who was asking which reporter should ask a question made over a hundred facial expressions, he also looked as if was chewing tobbaco.anyway let me get to the point most of the things in there the world knew anyway, ok the one recommendation that they mentioned " that the u.s should not have any control of iraq's oil supply " what did they mean by that? so iraq's oil supply is still controlled by the u.s?

I have this business idea...
I want to create a directory of people who are heterosexual. Have you ever wondered if someone you know is gay? What if you could search online at a heterosexual database? It would be free to search, but $1.99 to register your name. I think this would be a fun business idea and people would have a lot of fun with it...especially college kids - what do you think? Would you register? If I stirred up some buzz about the website, I bet I could convince people to advertise and then I could make money from that.

I'd appreciate any feedback... Thanks!
