Another Kassam rocket was fired at Israel Wednesday afternoon from northern Gaza, the 17th since the shaky ceasefire went into effect November 26.

The rocket landed in the western Negev near one of the kibbutzim in the area. There were no reports of injuries or damage. Security forces are trying to locate the precise location where the rocket landed.

It has been stated that the Arabs never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity. They could have had a state, which was offered to them by Israeli former PM Barak, but they chose terror as a way of making Israel disappear.

We must bear in mind that Arabs do not think the way we do, so their conclusions are not rational ones. And their hate for a Jewish state far exceeds their desire to have another Arab state for their own.

Thus, when the Jews left them hothouses in Gaza, so that the Arabs could prosper economically, the Arabs chose to dismantle the hothouses for scrap. And to turn the pipes into launchers for the Qassam rockets. And to dwell in poverty because they don't have the hothouses to provide income.

Don't try to understand their mentality. It is hopeless.

Israel DID NOT start the rocket attacks. Israel pulled out of Gaza and left it for the Arabs. The next thing the Gazan Arabs did was begin bombarding southern Israel with Qassam rockets, 1000 this year alone, as they had bombarded Gush Katif in previous years.

One sees that the issue was not "occupation," by any stretch of the imagination. Just the attempt to destroy Israel and Israelis.

The radical Arabs prefer destruction (of Israel) over construction (of their own lands). Hard to believe? Yes, but that is the Arab mentality.

Yes, Ebenezer, it would be a good thing to locate the launchers and destroy them. There are two problems. First, the Hamas launches their rockets from civilian neighborhoods. And second, the launchers are mobile and disappear rapidly into garages and such.

Not until Israel can produce leadership with the resolve to project the people of Israel.

In the meanwhile, we can help the folks in Israel under rocket attack.

True. And you'll notice they're not highly regarded in the Arab/Islamic world, either. Lots of verbal support for Palestinian cause, but you'll notice the bucks don't follow the mouths. Palestine... Gaza.. and the west bank are broke.. but Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, Iran aren't exactly opening the checkbooks to help them out. Nor are the martyrs flocking to Palestine to put themselves on the front line against the evil Zionist entity.

You seem to be forgetting that Israeli took the land from the Palestinians.

You seem to be forgetting that the Israelis are barely leaving food and water for the Palestinians, much less the land itself, as they continue to establish settlements on the West Bank (as a means to push out the Palestinians), and to meanwhile slaughter and kill Palestinian civilians.

And you wonder why they fight back? You wonder why they firmly believe in their right to the land?

Not until Israel learns to behave and end it's illegal occupation of Palestinian territories. Zionism is evil and until it ends Israel should be rocketed to the stone age.

More than likely no. The PLO, Ha mas, and Hezbollah will never recognize Israels right to exist.
