i mean first of all the people involved in the iraq study group looked like they were from homer simpson's father's old peoples home. they all looked very retarded. the guy who was asking which reporter should ask a question made over a hundred facial expressions, he also looked as if was chewing tobbaco.anyway let me get to the point most of the things in there the world knew anyway, ok the one recommendation that they mentioned " that the u.s should not have any control of iraq's oil supply " what did they mean by that? so iraq's oil supply is still controlled by the u.s?

OIL is the primary reason we're in Iraq....and the reason why we will not withdraw from Iraq for decades - perhaps even generations.
Dick Cheney wants all that OIL so that he and his Exxon-Mobil buddies can get richer and richer and richer continuing to feed America's dependency on cheap, easily-accessible foreign OIL. And as long as American companies refuse to manufacture more fuel-efficient products, they share the blame for this obscene 'war', just as all Americans who have to drive $60,000 gas-guzzling SUVs. The blood of 655,000 Iraqis and 2,800 U.S. soldiers is on all our hands.
The U.S. is building the largest embassy in the world on a 104-acre site in downtown Baghdad overlooking the headquarters of the 'new' Iraqi puppet government installed by the Bush administration. Why? Because we will remain a dominating presence in Iraq until we such every drop of OIL out of that nation's sands.
We Americans make up 5% of the world's population, yet we squander 55% of the world's natural resources. We've got to stop being so greedy, or the entire world will hate us (which is already perilously close to being a reality).
The U.S. wants control of the Iraqi oil fields. By spring of 2007, the U.S. will also invade Iran for the very same reason" control of those rich fields of easily-accessible OIL.
Next, the U.S. will attack Venezuela once it decides it needs to take more than 5% of that country's OIL for its own.
The guy who looked like he was chewing tobacco was probably James Baker, who is an associate (along with George H.W. Bush) in the Carlyle Group, one of the America's fastest-growing government contractors. How much do you think the Carlyle Group was paid to issue the Study Group Report?? It means nothing; the U.S. will continue its policies; this report was quickly concocted as an olive branch to the American people, who demonstrated their dissatisfaction with the 'war' in last month's elections. Had it been a 'real' report, it couldn't possibly have been published so quickly. But, as politicians know, gullible Americans will swallow anything. -RKO-
