I live on a street next to Chamberlayne road, how do I find out if I have a house to go home to tonight? Tried calling home and the phone number is not working.

Try calling neighbors. Or the fire or police department. The fire and police department are probably very busy, but there would be someone there that could tell you if that street was hit.
I have lived through a tornado. It was not fun.

Call the police or fire department. The phone line is probably out all over the area due to lines down. I hope that the police dept. or fire dept. has their phone lines up. I really wish the best of luck.

If you go to where your house should be, and it's not there anymore, either a tornado got it or one of your neighbors has played a prank on you by moving it!
