My god. Anyone who risks thier life on a daily basis should not have a family. Family first. Were you really shocked when u heard he got killed by a WILD animal? I wasn't. I feel awful for his family... For example: If you're single and love riding a motorcycle w/o a helmet, great- ur still an idiot. But, if you have a family, u better have a helmet on because you are jeopordizing the security of your whole entire family. Steve you were an idiot. Career man not Family man.

I've noticed some are referring what happened to Steve Irwin as an 'attack', when it was really an unfortunate accident.

I think they dishonor his memory and everything he stood for by trying to sensationalize his death.

I am gutted ... Steve will always be a true Australian Hero in my books. Yes he was 'out there' however he did more good for Australian Tourism, and educating everyone about wildlife (both native Australian and international) not to mention his great work with the Quarantine Department .. than a million shrimps on the BBQ.
Steve .. YOU ROCK!!

I know the holy war has been going on for a really long time, but I would like to hear other people's opinions on the holy war and the possible coming of W W 3. This is a hard topic but I would really like to hear form people of any religion & race. My only opinion is to have hope for no more wars ,for I hope one day we will all have peace.

Its just a total shock that a man who cared about animals is no longer here. I feel sad for his wife and children especially his parents. He will be deeply missed very much.
