I was in a slight shock today. I loved him too. He was a great showman and a great philanthropist.

He was one of a kind. His mission in life was to teach people respect for the environment and animals. He used his dynamic, passionate, over the top personality to entertain people but his real mission in life was to teach people respect for the environment and animals. There will never be another character like Steve Irwin. More than how he died, let us remember how he lived. His untimely death will not be in vain if each one of us does our part to make this world a better place as Steve did. R.I.P. Steve, you ruled!!

Yeah. Steve Irwin was a great guy who was a great husband and father. He also cared a bout the well-being of animals. That places him right up at the top of my list. Though it makes me very sad to hear of his death, I'm sure that it means something that he died doing something he truly loved. Let us all pray for his wife and children.

Yes I Loved him but the sad thing is my kids loved him more! I just cant believe what has happened! Trying to explain to my kids is the worst though, I just can imagine what Terri is going through trying to deal with this awful lost and telling his kids must be the worst thing of all! My Prayers are with Terri, Bindi, Bob and Steve's entire family and friends across the world who are mourning!!!!

yes, quite a guy. I'm kinda glad he went the way he did, doing something he loved. Wouldn't it be ironic if he'd been in an accident? We should all go doing something we love. Goodbye Steve. God Bless.

i will never forget the image of steve irwin talking to the camera while sharks were in a feeding frenzy all around him while he stood in the water...the guy was a crazy kook but he was fascinating, funny and very entertaining...i kind of felt one day his luck would run out the way he took risks dealing with wildlife but i would never have guessed it would take a stingray to be the culprit....my condolences to his friends and family....he was one of a kind and his legacy will continue as his shows run on animal planet

It's sooo sad...
I mean, usually when someone famous dies none of my friends care... But they were almost crying when they heard... The whole world is crying.... I think it's almost/more tragic as/than if Johnny Depp died...
Actually, i still can't get it through my head that he is dead T_T I can't confense myself that he is... I keep thinking... "THE MEDIA IS LYING!!"
It's quite a tragedy... His wife and kids must be miserable... Expectially his little girl, she was a daddy's girl...

Stive was good but maybe it was too much of going to the animals,so he put his life in risk of death.I'm really sad about this,Australia lose one of the best environmentalists so far.
