He says he murdered the girl and it turns out he didn't--whaaa? What kind of freak pretends he did that? He's already a ****** creep as it is, now he's totally freaking me out! Can we just kill him or something?

I would like to copy an image or video still from the CBS EVENING NEWS of a guy that was interviewed today AUGUST 28, 2006, in NEW ORLEANS. His name is Robert Thompson. He looks just like a friend of mine that lives in New Mexico. I want to compare this image to pictures I have of my friend. But I can't copy a picture for the video feed. Is there a way? The image of this guy can be found at CBSNEWS.com, go to cbs evening news video section and look for "President Bush tours New Orleans", the story was covered by reporter Jim Axelrod. The image is towards the end of the feed, he's the guy with the grey beard and t-shirt sitting down outside. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

John Karr has had his warrant for the murder of JonBenet Ramsey dropped this evening. The DNA was not a match. If you go to yahoo's story about it, it talks about how he had sex with her and used the garrote for his own sexual pleasure and to put her in a "dream-like" state before oral sex. I realize this is disgusting, people. Anyway, he said he tasted her blood and realized that she had been deprived of oxygen for too long and worried that she would end up in a vegetative state, basically. So he hit her in the head with a flashlight he had brought with him and killed her so that she wouldnt suffer. As though what she had gone through before that wasnt suffering. How could he have known so much about the crime without being there? I've followed this story and never heard details like this. What's your thoughts on this?
Why would anyone admit to a crime they didnt commit? (Especially one this horrifying!) No answers like crazy, attention-seeker. Its more than that. Was he there?

Does anyone really give a **** about Jonbenet Ramsey? Why has the media keep covering this crap. So a little girl was killed 10 YEARS AGO! I mean its sad but who really cares. People are murdered everyday but you won't hear about it. Why doesn't the media concentrate on more serious issuse like the Iraq War, Health Care. Many kids die in this country of starvation. Why doesn't the media cover that?

Instead of some narrow-minded narcissist like Ann Coulter or a socially myopic Robert Novak getting all of the "air-time" or "news print," why are there no shows or news in which common people are offered equal time. If the subject is homelessness, I don't need to hear hours of mindless blather from uncaring, hatemongering republicans; I would probably listen if there were some homeless people given a chance to speak for themselves, and given an opportunity to put forth some creative ideas and solutions though.

It's not possible to have a democracy when the news media is controlled by the "haves," to the exclusion of the "have-nots." Moreover it seems to be beyond salvage, as no one is challenging it. People seem to think it's "cool" to sit back and watch the destruction of our country from within, even to egg it on. So, what's up with this kick?

I don't know why, but since a flight in September 2005 that was particularly turbulent (between Chicago and Detroit), I am now petrified of flying. I can imagine all the things that can happen to me and I'm so scared... I have a training to go to in October for work and (I'm pretty tempted to drive even though it's like a 9 hour trip one way).... obviously the sad news yesterday does not help...I like driving though... Plus I drive pretty slowly and cautiously and don't have points (knock on wood)..... I just want to know whether there are others out there with similar situations....

I have this weird emo kid living next door to me, well there two of them living together but there's one who really likes me, too much!
He scares the **** out of me, he wants to go out with me and I don't wanna be mean but I really hate emos! He's disgusting looking, his got one of those bad emo hair dos dyed black with a fringe over one eye, stubby dirty fingernails and he's always trying to rub my leg every time someones not looking. I feel sorry for him a bit cause he is pathetic and he's the only emo in the neighbourhood really ( apart from his friend) and his always getting battered by the local yobs. I think he'll die a death if I'm not his friend but gosh, I wanna get away from him. His coming round tomorrow!!!

Why can't people support our troops instead of begging for peace? Without the war in Iraq, there'd be numerous terrorists that would still be on the loose and I can just about guarantee that there would have been more attacks between 9/11 and today. Since the troops are there and since we are at war and the men and women serving have chosen to be there...why can't we just show our support?!

There is nowhere in America right now where a person can purchase a gallon of gasoline for less than 2.50, some places well over 3.00 and most places at roughly 2.79.

No matter what kind of car you drive, everyone pays the same for gasoline. That doesn't seem fair when fuel is such a pricey thing. It's a luxury to drive a fuel inefficient vehicle and it deserves a luxury tax (not the one-time fee when purchasing the vehicle).

Who is with me in thinking gas-inefficient vehicles need a yearly tax to cover their higher consumption? And would this be a good idea to pose to a politician?
