Perhaps Education is seen as the only way out of poverty and Asian families work together to help other family members to succeed. Each family member who suceeds is expected to help their siblings succeed. The concept of shame for failure has pretty much disappeared in much of America.

That's not so unusual in the world Love. It is the Americans that have grown soft and careless. But that's just human nature. In the strongest nations, the people become weak. Giving into luxury, and faltering on good old hard work.
In a prosperous country, every drunk sleeping under a bridge
can get three meals a day, and tell everyone to kiss his behind.
Look at the young. Spending hours on mindless activities like
video games. These are hard realities.

I ask that question about Jews and a Jewis said their families value education and do everything possible to encourage their children to get a good education. I think too, that many people coming to the states see the opportunities and possibilities. Also do you suppose their eating a lot of fish helps? So many articles talk about Omega 3s in fish helping with learning, remembering and low moods.

Many Asian children attend school six days a week. Families place a high value on education and therefore the children are more driven to succeed.

at present mine has been going lower to and fro between 16-17%...yet i have self assurance that's on gradual downward trend because some months in the past it changed into round 19-20%...by using the proper of the 365 days i am hoping to be at a million-2%. even as it is going to a damaging huge variety, which will be my clue to move on..

i think it's because they go threw a rougher life then we do. and there determined to make it happen. and other country's make sure there children are educated to the t. when they take the test to become citizens in america they have a really hard test. i think that's why they get angry at us. can't help being born in this country.

In their countries the have high standards in school, and work harder than many americans. So they come with better educated and work ethics, which makes them so successful.

its because our (asian) culture is forced upon us to exceed in everything we do. our parents are very strict. in asia most are very abusive but we don't really have that problem here. although there are still very strong punishments like groundation for 1/2 a year for a B in class and worster for lower grades.
