If we truly want to see change, we shouldn't be trying to spend money on it. The only influence we really have, our money, is what gives the corporations which control the government their power. If you really want change, keep it in your pocket.
Buy less, buy local, changes will come slowly. The victims of Katrina need to see changes coming, and they will do a lot to help themselves. Right now, they see no hope of a better world to cheer them at all. We can do more by refusing to pay money to the corporations that are in power. Save gas, cut your energy use, grow your own food and buy locally produced products to cut down on the transportation of food. Buy unprocessed foods instead of things from megacorp companies.

In Waveland, MS, we had Mormons, Menonites, Baptists, Amish people there not to mention hundeds of other groups to help clean up and try to rebuild some of our homes that were left. God Bless Them!
Last year right after the storm, the Red Cross came and fed us until November. After that, we were on our own. Never mind you didn't have transportation or utilities. There were alot of things that should have been better organized. I'm so grateful to be alive; but I know I'll never forget it.

I write about this frequently - the local powers there are not going to rebuild the impoverished neighborhoods. They're going to offer those people abuyout and you will see casinos and corporate hq's and hotels spring up in their place. the people have already been dispersed all over the country and insurance companies have backed out on the water damage. It is impossible for these people to come up with the resources to rebuild.

do you elect for the glue to be the filler besides? If no longer, you elect for a *solvent-weld* adhesive. And, there are any sort of ABS-type pipe glues (observe: maximum require a primer, and those that don't *ought to* be primed besides for many suitable bonding) attainable out of your interior sight plumbing grant or great-field save. those will do an incredible job of gluing the stuff mutually. yet, they are no longer fillers. observe: solvent-weld glues are no longer forgiving - as quickly as the bond contraptions, you haven't any longer any 'do-over' and it contraptions up (in spite of the certainty that it would not completely therapy) interior approximately 10 seconds below maximum situations. save that for the duration of suggestions. Bondo is composed of suggestions (out of your vehicle-grant) as an incredible everlasting filler that still will adhere suitable to ABS - yet you ought to sand (roughen) the substrate first for many suitable outcomes. Epoxy Glue would not artwork properly with many plastics because it is not a solvent-weld technique. it is going to finally fail below demanding situations (flex, warmth, tension). in the journey that your finished product heavily isn't problem to rigidity, epoxies will artwork advantageous.

that's why we pay federal taxes.
of course our taxes didn't go towards that effort or any other domestic effort.
it's not our fault that all that money we sacrafise and also donate went down the toilet of corruption.
