John Karr has had his warrant for the murder of JonBenet Ramsey dropped this evening. The DNA was not a match. If you go to yahoo's story about it, it talks about how he had sex with her and used the garrote for his own sexual pleasure and to put her in a "dream-like" state before oral sex. I realize this is disgusting, people. Anyway, he said he tasted her blood and realized that she had been deprived of oxygen for too long and worried that she would end up in a vegetative state, basically. So he hit her in the head with a flashlight he had brought with him and killed her so that she wouldnt suffer. As though what she had gone through before that wasnt suffering. How could he have known so much about the crime without being there? I've followed this story and never heard details like this. What's your thoughts on this?
Why would anyone admit to a crime they didnt commit? (Especially one this horrifying!) No answers like crazy, attention-seeker. Its more than that. Was he there?

If someone admitted to this crime and the Boulder, CO prosecutor DIDN'T bring him to the states for a DNA test, wouldn't people be screaming about that?? The answer is yes. They did what they had to do to prove that he did or did not do it.
And did I not just say please dont say for attention??

Ok. First of all he is NOT crazy. The reason he admitted to the crime is because he has romantized a relationship with JonBenet in his mind. He was and is obsessed with her because of her beauty, Just because we don't fully understand it doesn't make it wrong. The human animal is very complexed. You might find a baby to be "cute" , while others might find that same baby to be "beautiful". The difference in finding any underage person attractive is simply controlling one's urges. All men and women are capable of incest , molestation, polygamy, adultry, homosexual tendencies and violence. The difference in those who do those things and those who don't is simply self-control. Some experience some of these urges at different times in life and some don't at all. It's all about personal interest, exposure, environment and sometimes inherited mental "genetic flaws or disconnections." It is a very deep subject of the human psyche. There are boundaries that we set in our lives and minds. Some people don't follow those boundaries or can't without help. For example, when you were younger, didn't your mother tell you to "cross your legs!" or to "close your legs!"? Did you ever wonder why? Was your father or uncle or brothers or sisters in the room at the time? Well, your mom was trying to protect you from the "HUMAN ANIMAL Curiousity Factor". She was being cautious that something might happen if you didn't do as she asked, that you might unwittingly set off some type of reaction. Some where in the human instinct is the "bad seed" of "sexual curiousity" and it is multi-faceted. This seed can grow anytime and anywhere. Not everyone is enticed or affected by it (the urges). There is no way to tell who is and who isn't involved in behavior that might seem unacceptable. Like I said some experiences happen from real young to as old as a person can get. A lot of people would never admit to doing anything that might be or seem weird. The reason they don't talk about it is because it might ruin current relationships with friends or family. John Mark Karr is a victim of his own personal imagination. He could have gone on with this fantasy forever, without telling a single person about it. The problem is he couldn't control his urge to talk about it. He was and is so in love with JonBenet that he can't think straight. Her "beauty" is overwhelming his "better judgement". She was and is in many ways a movie star. John Mark Karr's attraction to her is really no different than other people being attracted to the "BARBIE DOLL". The only difference is , is that those people can control how far they take their actions. The real issue here is, is it really a good idea to make a little girl look like she's much older than she really is. You see that's the problem. John Mark Karr isn't in love with what you and I see as a child really, he and even JonBenet's parents (and people like them) are in love and obsessed with the "womanly image" that she possessed. The "woman" she would have been. The "woman" they see, not imagine her to be. To them she is a woman. Sometimes women act like little girls and sometimes little girls act like women. What's the diference? In some ways there's not much difference other than chronological order. We are taught that there IS a difference and to respect it, in some "saintly" like way, but what really happens is that sometimes the human animal wins over. It's not an excuse, it is a problem, but as long as we are human it will be a factor that we will have to try to continue to control. If possible. You see he would have been considered really "crazy" if he had said that he was JonBenet but instead he is considered "ill" for believing he had a relationship with her. The true sexual details (if any) have not really been disclosed to the public so anything that he has said is clearly part of the fantasy that he's created. JonBenet is the new "Marilyn Monroe" of our time, talented and tragic. John Mark Karr studied and gathered a lot of details into the case in order to get certain information that he claims to know "first hand". How he got so much info remains to be seen. I think that says a lot about his talents. Anytime someone says hey I'm looking to write a book, there's always someone willing to give out information. For John Mark Karr it was an easy thing to do. He is very convincing. Hopfully he'll get some help with his fantasies, if not at least his ability to control his urge to speak about them out loud.

The only answer if he really did not do it is that he is mentally disturbed..
There is no real answer to what goes on in a person in such an unbalanced state of mind to openly admit all of what he has said that will make sense to us. Expressing such sick details when his DNA did not match the crime site.. obviously he was not there.., they have not found the killer yet but I am sure they will and it is not the poor family who have suffered so much..

The better question is why a prosecutor would waste taxpayer dollars.
It is very common for nutcases to claim to have committed high profile crimes. They are usually ignored by competent prosecutors.
Obviously, Boulder's prosecutor is as much a publicity seeker as the nutcase Karr.
Response:
You don't get to answer the question you asked. And, if you don't want the answer, don't ask the question.

John Karr is a sick pedophile. That is what probably attracted him to this case. He became obsessed with it, & began communicating about it with anyone & everyone he could, including the Boulder CO journalist who reported him to the authorities. All of the information he had wasn't out as general knowledge, but it was public. I believe he became so obsessed with the case, that he desperatly needed to be a part of it. What better way to get yourself involved than to confess, especially if you had absolutely nothing to do with it in the 1st place.

My guess is that he suffers from delusional disorder - erotomanic type with a touch of grandiosity and pedophilia. This disorder generally strikes middle-aged men. Sometimes people suffering from delusional disorder are paranoid and think the world is out to get them. Erotomanic type is when they think they have a love relationship usually with a famous woman. In this case, it is a girl because he is attracted to girls.
I think John Karr just wants to be tied to JonBenet in anyway he can.
While he appears really crazy to nearly everyone, it seems that he doesn't molest or rape young girls like others. He may be comparatively benign.

I hate to say this, but I have always thought that the parents had a whole lot to do with the death of JonBenet...perhaps John Karr was in on it along with one or both parents, but I don't believe he was in this alone.

You say no answers like crazy or attention-seeker. Sorry, but that's the answer.
The police are constantly dealing with nutcases who confess to crimes.

i think he might of been there, but didnt actually commit the crime, he wanted a free ride back to the states, and he figured, that was his chance to do it, he is a sick person, and needs alot of help, you probably arent going to like what i say next, i think jonbenet parents did it, or had a hand in it, i thought that along, i dont feel sorry for her parents, i know patsy has passed, but judgement day comes for everyone, and she got hers, i feel sorry for jonbenet, she was just a child, she had so much to offer the world.

I think he admitted to the murder so he would get out of Thailand. He had several charges against him there.
